- Season 3 launches with none other than the supermodel that is David Gandy … I know, it was a tough job interviewing the most famous male supermodel in the world but someone’s got to do it and fortunately for me, and hopefully you, he chose to chat all things Style with me. David shot to global recognition wearing a pair of tiny white swimming trunks for the iconic Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue fragrance campaign (which he still fronts today). The image saw him on a 50 ft billboard in Times Square NY over 20 years ago…We laugh about the value of those tiny white trunks now. I loved hearing about the inspiration behind his David Gandy Wellwear brand which he created during Lockdown, which combines his passion for style and wellbeing with responsibly sourced garments … did you know that fabrics can now be infused with anti-bacterial, anti-odour or moisturising qualities? He openly discusses the challenges of the fashion industry in this post-pandemic, post-Brexit, cost-of-living-crisis-world that we are inhabiting. We talk about male body image, grooming, style icons and so much more … I sincerely hope you enjoy this next season as much as I have creating it.

David speaks so eloquently on the importance of sustainable clothing production. I never really considered the negative impact mountains of discarded clothes (see Accra, Ghana for one) would have on our environment until I started listening to his interviews. He also gives a more in depth interview on sustainable clothing production in his Oxford Union Q&A video. Going forward, I plan to make smarter choices in the quality of clothing I purchase to wear. Nose is too big and chin is slightly inwards, from sides its visible, but from the front flaws go invisible
