I had to call Larry every Friday morning for the Chris Baker Morning show on 101.9 the Edge in Omaha in the late 90's. The best phone calls I ever had to make, 3 min on the phone with one of the funniest dudes was funnier than a deaf mute playing bingo gettin bingo trying to holler out bingo. I would like to find the letters he would write and read for the morning show. Can't find them anywhere.
My family owned this CD for years before it "disappeared". We used to listen to this time and time again and laughed hysterically every time. Great times!

Jeff Foxworthy was known in this era as the biggest selling comedian ever however during this particular time Larry the Cable Guy was just as successful as his buddy Jeff and every bit as funny. That combined with two other super comedians Bill Engval and Ron White also at the peak of their careers that when the 4 of them agreed to tour together for the Blue Collar comedy tour, it created arguably the funniest and definitely the most successful comedy tour in history. It was the dream team of comedy.
I was fortunate enough to get to see Larry on this tour basically doing this routine.....and i have never laughed as hard before that night and after .... i did buy this cd at the show but have since lost it so thank you for posting this .... i think this was larry when he was in his prime

Grew up watching Larry and the rest of the blue-collar boys - never gets old lol. One of his specials was filmed in my hometown back in 2003.
