So for what it is worth the family Seriola fish (Sambos, YTK and Ambers) can be infected with a microscopic myxosporean parasite, Kudoa sp. that upon cooking releases an enzyme causing musculature liquefaction or “milky flesh” where the flesh becomes mushy and inedible. The Worms are just worms, and the cooking is what most people will experience as mush - and it is mush! Well done on the Harley, Great Cook up! Dive safe, have fun!👊🖐🤿👍🍻

Perth is the only place in the Whole World that doesn’t want you to eat seafood. They have so many rules that sometimes I call Fremantle fisheries and they have to call me back because they don’t know. There’s a lot of places that you can’t spearfish and taking shellfish is prohibited and crabs in the Cock BURN Sound is only for looking at and it’s been like that for years. Hopefully in 50 years when I’m 105 years old I can get to enjoy 1 . I would love to see anyone do a survival show in The Cock sound with just a knife and nothing else and I will bet you that you will not be able to eat because of All the Restrictions and you will get a fine before you die of starvation.

I don’t live in perth but I know there is Spear West and Adreno that would both have dove torches. I recommend the Ocean Hunter torch that’s about $120. Best torch
