This channel is criminally underrated. I watch Reef Addicts, Daniel Mann, Capt. Speario(sp), Wet Mammal, Braden Sheeran, and a few others. Joe is always consistent with posting and content. Daniel Mann has disappeared and never responds to comments anyways. But a lot of RUclipsrs forget that the key to growing a channel is putting out content, but doing it consistently and also responding back to the fans of the channel. You got it mostly down.
So nice to see that there is so much life around this time of year in the shallows. All accessible by just snorkelling! Great video and what an interesting way to cook the lobster - I'll have to try that myself!
Nice vid mate. A lot of things i agree with you about diving and especially about low tides. I love snorkeling during low tides. But the water this spring was most of the time milky.
Hi Joe can you please post on how to set your spear in to the gun please. i see you wrap the mono around the spear. first year this year of me giving it ago. all the gear with no idea..
Greetings from West Anglesey, I have only just found your channel and think it is SUPERB in every way. Two questions I would like to ask are where do you find the time (Never a free minute or bad weather) and how long can you hold your breath for underwater (probably been asked a thousand times)? Stay safe and keep the videos coming....
Just bought my first wetsuit after watching a good few of your vids, never done spear fishing but I am experienced boat fisherman, my only concern is, and sure you get asked this 1000 times, but how long did it take you before you felt comfortable diving to the depths you are. I’m planning on staying in the shallows at no more that 3-5 meters as don’t think i could hold my breath much longer. Also do you ever go on your own, as I will most likely have too
good vid idk about the gun mount tho because you are not meant to move your gun round loads and but when is on your head you can seee more jua a suggestion tho
Well done my spearo friend! I dived both in British and Turkish waters and I should say that our basses are much smarter compared to yours. So you are lucky in this respect. Is your dive location in Cornwall?
and thats why i love your work, killing fish only being 1% of spearfishing, attitude and respect for the sea i think is a seriously overlooked attribute to success
Mate your killing me! So I live in the Caribbean and you’re making me home sick. Here is nice and hot but we are super limited on spearing, basically we can only spear lionfish. I work for the government as a marine biologist so I stick to the rules which means lionfish and lobster only in winter. Lionfish makes lovely ceviche and broth but yea I’d love to teleport home for a weekend, the wetsuits however I do not miss…..30° is just about right
Great video as usual Joe. Not sure if you’ve seen but I’ve tried to send you a message on your Joe PK fan page? If you see it could you let me know please. Thanks
Such a great ambassador for spearfishing. Awesome vid Joe. 🤙🏼🦈
Couldnt agree with you more Joe, being in the ocean and doing a nature swim is what really counts! Keep the content coming!
Thanks!
Another wicked video Joe, cook up on the beach was mouthwatering as ever. Thanks guys👌👍
Thanks 👍
Gotta get out. Great day and nice catch🤿 Preparing the food on the beach raises the experience to a new level😊

What about smash fishing, life adrift, fieldays and JE Wilds ? This fella will get some more subs for sure.
How did D Mann disappear? He was posting on regular while traveling Europe. Let the man cook up something good again. Quantity does not mean quality.
Ollie Craig is the goat
Thanks so much! Glad the consistent posting is appreciated :)
Loving these local shore dives, Joe. Inspiring me to try some new spots!
Go for it!

Great vid Joe! Really enjoying the shore dive content

Great job guys. Watching and enjoying from NZ. May be come down here sometime and try our coastline. 👍👍
Id love to one day!

Yes I should make a vid about this.
Time spent by the sea is rarely wasted. Time spent in the sea is rarely beaten. As Shrek would say - 'Nice one Brother!'
Great video, you must know something I don't, I am surprised the beach is not packed with holiday makers.
It's a bit of a walk I guess

Another great vid..
I am tempted to try dogfish... it would be a first for me too...

I could use a ‘buddy’ if you’re ever out in the south Devon area 👍🏻
Great video Joe
Not so sure with your music choice though 😜🤪🤷♂️
Fair enough! Was it the piano which didn't work dor you or the intro music?
good vid idk about the gun mount tho because you are not meant to move your gun round loads and but when is on your head you can seee more jua a suggestion tho
I agree, still need a head cam, both would be ideal!
@@JoePkSpearfishing yeah
How can u hold your breath that long
👍👍 top
Thanks for watching.
great video has Toby caught his 1s4 lobster yet ?
So nearly, he's found loads but to be fair they have all been really tricky ones to get out of the caves. it won't be long now...
Hey Joe. I assume those sweet potatoes were pre cooked? I cant imagine 8 minutes was enough from raw.
So they were in an extra 15 minutes or so while we prepped the lobster. I guess they had more like 25 mins and they were just right.
Are you in the UK? I know Australia doesn't have lobsters with claws.
Yes, south west England 🏴
thats so delicious🤙
Thank you 😋
👍

Here was actually in Devon. Absolutely our bass are comparatively so easy to catch, often swimming onto the spear!
@@JoePkSpearfishing I see many plaices on sands and they don't even bother camuflating properly:D Do turbots come near shore often as well?
I love you

We are so lucky with the freedom here but 30 degrees, that sounds rather nice!!!

I've not seen I can't seem to find it. Is it under same name, peter?
@@JoePkSpearfishing hi Joe. It says Joe PK fan page, maybe it’s not yours then but for you🤦🏼♂️😆 is there anyway I can message you?
