I've been a fan of this song for a while but my interpretation has changed over the years. At this point, I feel like he's strong enough to try and make the waking world the best he can and to have the same heavenly feeling he experiences in his dreams. Thanks for your reaction and your take on it! 💖🦋
He's definitely talking about Heaven. And a yearning for Heaven on Earth as described in the Bible. Creed got a lot of flack for being a Christian band back in the day. I always thought they rocked. They were good live too. At least the time I saw them at some music festival they were. Don't remember what festival it was. Long Time Ago. 🎯
@@oreally8605 except they werent a "Christian rock band" at all. Talking about his personal struggles which included his faith doesnt make a band a "Christian band".
LMAO... jihad rock? I don't care if they wanna sing about the same God topic on every song, I don't have to listen. BUT, there are many topics other that God, Satan & Hamas.
Sceez- keep a dream journal and notate your dreams as soon as they happen. The more you practice this , the more you will remember. Every detail in your dream represents an aspect of YOU! Our dreams talk to us all the time in the language of metaphor. 😊
Glad you’re checking out Creed!!!! Now you need to check out Scott Stapp’s solo music!!! Purpose for pain Slow Suicide Broken Justify Jesus was a rockstar Only one Hit me more Name (prequel to Arms wide open)
🤔💭 Idk anyone else who dreams like I do. I've even asked Dr's, but apparently it's a mental thing.. Every night I close my eyes, I go to "My other life" .. I dream about the house, the same people, I drive the same car. Every dream's different in terms of what I do. It's crazy dream stuff but every night it starts at the same place with the same people. Ik it sounds weird, but that's what happens. 😁
I appreciate the fact that your thoughts immediately entertain the possibility of all things spiritual, within the Christian faith, when you read these lyrics. That tells me an awful lot about your background. It’s apparent that you have had some quality exposure to the church, and I’m guessing that it was your parents, grandparents, or maybe another family member that is responsible to you being introduced to the church, and the Bible. I say this because you have referenced things, numerous times, immediately, pertaining to Scripture, in this song , as well as, “My Own Prison” , which is another Creed song that I watched you react to. I’m a white guy who despises people of my own race that have any kind of hate, or prejudice in their hearts. I just want to say that one of the things that I admire about the black community, is that practically every individual of that ethnicity acknowledges, and believes in God, and His Holy Word, which of course, is The Bible. I do believe that you completely understand my good intentions that I have conveyed to you my friend. 😊
Sceez stop practicing Lucid dreaming. I had sleep paralysis and lucid dreams long time without wanting it to happen. In my opinion I feel it is a spiritual attack. I always thought this song was about Heaven!
Sounds like hes talking about heaven in the chorus. Telling everyone how wonderful it is and saying lets go there. To me this is a cult leader about to drink that special kool aid with his followers LOL
God...I love this song...! HE can take us HIGHER!
Yes... to the glory of Heaven.....................
This song always makes me feel good 😊Definitely Heaven
A great band with one of the greatest guitarists of all time

Yes...I agree...
Snotty rock critics!!!!
People hated Creed because they were a Christian rock band. Biblically, that's a great thing. The world is supposed to hate us.

I'd say you had it with heaven on earth. Sceez, give this song a listen. "Silent Lucidity" by Queensrÿche, it is about Lucid Dreaming.
