I found out that the book actually does have a volume one on the spine. It just says: volume one instead of just putting a 1 that’s why I don’t notice it. So we might be getting a volume 2 in the future fingers crossed.
I have over forty books like this, some of which are even thicker, and I’ve only ever had a binding issue once. From my experience as long as you don’t get a paperback of this size from boom studios the build quality will be perfect. Boom studios is notorious for glue binding issues. For a DC compendium like this you should be fine though.
