Off topic, I see your guitars and pictures in the background. I recently discovered The Cure after all these years. What do you think of them? I think they are amazing musicians and Robert Smith is a genius.
Guitars are never off topic ;) I don't know their body of work, but I do remember that some of their hits were very good! I also saw him in the news recently with regards to the concert ticket pricing situation. What really impresses me is his staying power. He's been doing it for nearly 50 years and there is no "quit" in him as far as I can tell. That "keep-going-ness" is the real genius, I think. At your suggestion I am going to listen to some Cure music and see how it makes me feel. Thank you 🙏 so much for watching and reaching out. Are you currently in Vegas or just considering a move here?
Ahh retirement -- I'm 65 in a couple months and I think I will keep working. I really enjoy the human connections. Just chatting with you here makes me feel good! What's your target time frame?

People always focus on the cons which there are a few but IMO there are way more pros to a lot of these communities. You really need to check out the HOA management and how people interact with them. Some can be very bad in terms or relationships with the community.
Yes, I think there are more pros than cons too! Chatting with the neighbors to see how they feel about things is a good idea too. If they are unhappy, they will love spilling the beans!
