  • If you’ve missed out on the Baringa "Managing IT in Uncertain Times" vlogs, it’s a weekly series where experts from Baringa provide insights into relevant topics of today's technology macroenvironment.
This week, Keri Link, expert in People, Talent and Change, shares insights about the rapid merging of technology and human roles and how companies are responding to this challenge. She highlights that many employees are apprehensive towards tech transformation. Hence, employers should reassure them that they remain indispensable assets and can use this as an opportunity to upskill themselves and better handle new technologies.
There are various tools that leaders may find beneficial to seamlessly integrate technology into the workforce. The 3 that Baringa finds most impactful are:
    1. Employee value proposition: understanding the existing skills and capabilities that the workforce possesses, as well as identifying those that will be useful in the future to drive and support technology and ensuring the organisation has a strong proposition to attract and retain the required talent
    2. Change management proposition: delivering behavioural change that will help sustain this technology change overtime
    3. Organisation design: designing an organisational structure that will effectively execute the future technology strategy
Stay tuned for vlog 4 next week!
