I love how Twyla gets sensory overload from loud noises! As an Autistic person, that is very relatable and it reminds me of how I cannot stand loud music and certain noises such as people clicking their tongues, people cracking their knuckles, and the sound of babies crying. I also loved to read growing up and would spend a lot of time in the school library, just reading long fantasy novels as a form of escapism, so Twyla being a bookworm is very relatable for me! Honestly, Twyla may be my favorite MH Gen 3 character at this point! I'm really relieved that Twyla's representation was done in a decent, relatable way and that she wasn't just treated as a token Autistic character and that they didn't use negative, dated stereotypes about Autism in her characterization!🖤
Me too
Same, as a kid, I like reading dinosaur books as a form of escapism.
Yea same and I’m autistic:)
@@nicholaslienandjaja1815 me too
Same here
I relate to twyla a lot because I’m also autistic,I like to stay in the shadows like twyla,I HATE loud noises, I fidget with a necklace that I always wear and I will always spill a lot of random information out of nowhere
Me too
i saw someone on tumblr saying she is a stereotype and saying they hate her childish voice. and like, I don't think that counts as a stereotype? I think they just miss her raspy voice. but it was just one person, compared to the rest of the community, the rest of the fans are loving everything about her!
I dont get it, I love her 🥺
@@PeachYReviews19 ME TOO!!! SHE IS SOOOO CUTE!!!🥺💜
I'm autistic and also have a childish voice so I agree she don't count as a stereotype
She is voiced by an autistic person and honestly it's great!
@@Amexella I was so happy to hear that when I found out!
I think that G3 is super Acing the representation thing! AND the characters chosed for every king of representation are just pecfect for the role!
Like here Twyla for example ! ( and frankie , etc)
This is super amazing for children to seen people that ressembles them being also a part of a fun show and talking about it to normalise it!
Can't wait to see more of these representation in future episodes!
Amazing video like always 8D!!
True
First Sesame Street, then Bluey (although Jack had ADHD, but it's also possible for autistics to also have ADHD)), and now Monster High.
I'm also Autistic (Arm Shaking,Speaking Alone) and i think Twyla is my Idol. Her song known as OUT OF THE SHADOWS is super CUTE!!! Twyla is my example to follow.
She is my idol too
I actually really love Goobert and Oni Kuma. Non-humanoid monsters are beautiful to me.
So, so sweet they did this for Twyla! She is even more of an adorable bean than G1 ^^ Her mom looks amazing and it is just so wholesome!!
Atleast now we know where draculaura got her looks ❤️
Interesting but that's so cool bec I didn't see representation of autism on any cartoons.
there is a few shows that do :)
@@pescuezoee Hero Elementary has an autistic character, and Entrapta from She-ra and the Princesses of Power, Manny Rivera/El Tigre, and the Rise version of Donatello are confirmed to be autistic by the creators of the respective shows.
There is like the owl house amphibia the ghost and molly mc gee its revaled in mirclous that there is a autistic character but not who it is heroes elmertery parnoal park/dead end Shera and the princess of the power Thomas and friends I forget which show he is from but there is snork there Nancy show whatever its called its cannon that no gem in Steven unervise is neruotypicial though being not neruotypicial doesn't always mean autistic and there is probably more 9:13
As long as they don't continue to downplay and push aside her romanian ancestry, talk about her mother as much as you want. They MUST give the Eastern Europeans the attention they deserve. MATTEL DONT LET THEM DOWN. FOCUS ON BOTH AND DO IT EQUALLY, PLEASE. DON'T BE LAZY AND ANTI EE. I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT HER MOM BUT TALK ABOUT HER DAD. Did he come to America as a kid and thus talks like one? How did he meet her mom? So many questions to be answered don't waste it.
Also people are already simping over this lady
Sadly, the OG Draculaura was Roman, not Romanian. I really, REALLY hope they actually let her and Dracula show their heritage, especially with Dracula being so Americanized this gen (which might be something they discuss).
@@monsterenergypunk Agree fully
I hope Monster High introduces a blind character, since I am a part of the BVI community.
I'm really happy to see Twyla featured in G3 Monster High.
After watching the new episode of Monster High, it actually made me feel good about being different because I have autism.
She is so cute and I am so happy about the representation
Their decision to make Drac Half Asian makes me very happy.
Won't be surprise Kuma and Goobert gets a humanoid form version, I can see them having Manny's body proportion. I hope they get better character development, that they get a chance to represent there kind and type of person they are.
Kuma being able to talk now, may represents foreign students learning a new language. Which is impressive for someone like Kuma to learn to speak language with in just a few months?
Monster high is going all out this year
Drac's mom monster high episode april nickelodeon premier 🤩
Like mother like daughter she looks good
I haven't watched the new episode of Monster High yet and I've been waiting for the creep over episode and now it's finally here.
compared to other shows on other networks and stuff like that Monster High has always been good at diversity but this show right now is really good because just how they handled the autism and they also handled the cultural appropriation in the coma episode was really good
😊
I might do a cosplay of g3 twlya
That would be great
I want to, too!
It's nearly the same as G1 Twyla
YES WE GOT THE EPIC TWYLA REVIEW!
My guess for future special needs representatives in Monster High:
Blindness
Deafness
Mute
Delayed speech
Food allergies
Dyslexia
ADHD
Specific learning disorder (SLD)
Memory loss (either short term or long term)
Also, would like to see fanart of Twyla hanging out with other autistic reps from other cartoons/anime/video games.
I love Monster high even more! Love the representations.
Twyla has always been my favorite ghoul and I now love her even more bc I'm also autistic
Since she's technically undead, I wonder if Cleo could've been affected by Frankie's ritual.
I liked these episodes at alot. Its also funny that they're making Kuma a thing but he's also currently our only stand in for japanese representation. I hope they still do kiyomi eventually tho like it doesn't have to be one character per nationality
I see Kuma as kiyomi's cousin personally
@@finland4ever55 I'd love it if that's actually how they'd introduce kiyomi this gen. I just don't want her left by the wayside entirely
I have autism and also I love autism its helps
Me and the show I love this show 2! Monster
High 🐩
It's not really Mattel making these random characters stick.
It's Nickelodeon.
Since they run the show but they partner with Mattel for the MH ip.
I looooove this! I always had issues with noise, and I'm glad they are bringing attention to it.
I wonder if Twyla is still younger then everyone else like she was in the original monster high 🤔
Me too
@@starwarsprequelsandsequels7582 I don’t think she younger then everyone else because on the wiki it’s says she’s 15
@@Lilith-cosplay-world oh😯
I’M AUTISTIC!! 🧩
Yass!💖
If “Fang wei” translate into mandarin
It's probably 范葳
We do have a last name call fang (范)
And 范 is a pretty big and ancient clan in 新竹 so I think it is a good setting
Where do you guys watch this for free?
What if #monsterhigh had ninjago & lilo and stitch experiments of their own?
What if dragonvale dragons & dragon city dragons were #monsterhigh Fright-Mares
What if #Barbie, #monsterhigh, #everafterhigh, #dcsuperherogirls & Archie comics had Tomorrowland (film) & Zootopia of their own?
What if #Barbie, #monsterhigh, #everafterhigh, #dcsuperherogirls & Archie comics had Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game & Starlink: Battle For Atlas of their own?
where are you watching? I don't have paramont, is there any other place I can watch the show?
Ciao bellissima il tuo video mi piace tantissimo e non vedo l'ora di vedere in un prossimo video Ciao a presto
I got to ask. How was Kuma able to talk?
Because ever since he came to monster high he's been learning monster language thus being able to talk (kinda like zombish learning English)
I actually have autism
I'm also autistic and loves monster high so I'm watching the new season on Netflix and I found her and I'm like OMGG AUTISM REPRESENTATION AND I CAN RELATE SO MUCH TO HATING LOUD NOISES, and being quite and I also like to keep to myself and surrond me with my special Interests.
So It's so amazing that they made an autistic character to represent some autistic individuals on the spectrum.
I think it's also good that they bring awarness to it to a younger audience also like 8 years old or Idk teens that watch this show.
I mean I'm 20 now I've loved monster high for a long time when I was a teenager u know like 13-14 I grew up with the 2D ver of monster high not this new 3D one. At that time like 2012 there wasn't much representation and stuff so yup.
I think this is a step forward some shows just misinterpret autism and dramatizes it or you know.
I have Autism too!
Where can I watch it??
So can those episodes be on KimCartoon now?
Not yet but still most episode
What if #Barbie, #monsterhigh, #everafterhigh, #dcsuperherogirls & Archie comics characters crossover had pangeos the terayacht of their own?
sorry for the question, but is this your channel???? Mattel???
Wait a minute, didn't draculaura's real mom died in the war? And isn't dracula her adoptive dad?
I feel so much like Twyla because I can't mantane eye contact I get stressed easily I figit alot and I have one best friend

What does autism mean?
Autism means thinking differently or like in a too much positive or childish kind. I maybe wrong so pls do correct me
It's a disability caused by differences in the brain.
@@glossygoth6561 that's one way it can affect people
a neurodevelopmental condition of variable severity with lifelong effects that can be recognized from early childhood, chiefly characterized by difficulties with social interaction and communication and by restricted or repetitive patterns of thought and behaviour
Is the definition
