VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
With a love for travel early in their relationship, making the transition to the tiny home lifestyle was inevitable for the Hanzian family. They converted their 1991 International Bluebird bus into the most adorable home. They bought their bus in 2016 off of Craigslist after visiting the United Tiny House Festival and knew that this was going to be their new home. Ian and Hannah have been living full time on their bus since 2018 with their daughter Nora, and they will be adding a new nursery for their baby boy in the very near future. Their desire for a big family will eventually change the current layout of their bus, and we cannot wait to check in with them in the future to see the changes that they make to accommodate the needs of their growing family and their littles. This precious family has turned a bus into a home in so many amazing ways and we just can't get enough of their wonderful design choices throughout the bus.

Young families are one of the biggest newcomers to the life on the road group. Do you think this will continue to grow?
Yes I'm actually thinking not only is it more environmentally friendly but also money saving my mother wasted 15 years of her life for a brick home that she later got kicked out of 🥺 I rather spend my time working hard for a few months and spend more time with my baby in the long run 🥰
definitely!
yes. to be free from all that want to be free from. to live as they wish. yeah. I want this
yeah having a kid.. wow. but they can teach better... loves is a start
life and love is a fight worth fighting.
Love it! Spent 4 years in a bus with my husband and adult disabled son. Had to leave due to son's needs, but still stayed small and kept the bus on our property for guest. This is the best way to live and enjoy your family. Good for you!
Where is your bus now? I mean what do you do whit it?
@@siljeuhre5563 currently it is rented out. We keep in on our property.
This is a great way for a young family to be able to save for later in life. I wish tiny homes had been popular 30 years ago when I was a young adult!
Jojo Momma me too. I definitely would have lived tiny. We did build a shed cabin in 2015. Next year we are getting a class A. We thought about a school bus but it’s too much on my husband. I’m disabled and he just retired from a job that was 80+ hours a week as a journeyman electrician. He returned to school and will take a test next month to be a home inspector. That way he makes his own schedule. So glad he left his old job. I know its not easy to study for a second career later in life. If he can learn to use a drown we will show our land on a video. We have lost a few drones, lol. I love this bus! If I could help build it I would. But I just can’t. I have a rare form of severe arthritis. This bus is a beautiful home. Sounds like they will fill it with beautiful children. Their daughter is gorgeous. Sweet family! Leslye
Yeah you say correct 😂
It’s always been a thing. Internet is making it more mainstream acceptable. Before you were just branded a hippie, broke, or both and shunned by society.
Nice profile picture 😃
Me too
I admire everyone with the courage to do this. Working just to pay bills is a box many will never escape.
Wait, did baby Nora know exactly where the snack drawer is, lol she's gorgeous
Right!
My cat knows where the treat cabinet is at.🐾
She looks just like her dad. Cute indeed and so precious 😇.
Such a lovely home and life. Well done. So much smarter than paying rent.
I´d like to live in that way too, but in germany it isn´t allowed.
@@ironknight2824 I know. Same problem. It’s not just bus life...actually it rather seems like all alternative living is basically impossible. Especially in Germany you can’t just park a van or anything somewhere and live there full time. Same applies to tiny homes...like in Australia where they can build in their parent’s back yard..not possible in Germany. Your family might have a huge lot of land but if its building plan allows one structure only on that property, you can’t just go ahead and build another one on it...Container homes, good luck with that..if your local building regulations require specific roof tops or a specific style you might not be able to build it...there are too many regulations and restrictions which make it so difficult...and once you’ve been through it all...considering land and housing prices you might end up paying the same for a tiny space...it’s getting ridiculous in some parts of Germany, especially in the south west, where I live...and I live in a small town (rather rural area) where they build small apartments for over 500 000€! That is insane! A shitty small piece of land 150-200 000€! What on earth? That’s how much you should pay for land and a small home combined....🤯...once you’ve bought land you can’t even afford to build anything...it’s even like: oh people are interested in tiny living!? Great! No problem, we start building small houses and small apartments then, but charge twice! That’s the trend over here at the moment...super frustrating...😞
I lost my Dad.. then a year later. my best freinds ever. now what do I do? I want to live. my way now. so I watch people like this. I love this.
Sorry to hear of your loss GOD has a plan to give you a hope and a future l
I lost my dad as well, last year. We shared a love for tiny living and traveling. Since he past, it made me realize if i dont do it now- will i ever get to? Will i get to do my life the way i want? Now i am. Saving for a bus for my kids, dogs and myself.
I wish I have someone to do this with
@@robinslagle2293 All the best
I miss my dad. I hope you do this. Using your hands to build a life will help you heal, and you know they'll be with you.
Items stay put during normal driving but please always be prepared should you have to make a emergency stop or get hit. Having a 25 pound juicer come flying could be very dangerous. Don’t even want to imagine the knives. Your home is very beautiful .Sweet sweet family
And Baby Nora is travelling close to all those items. But...really, nobody would leave their baby in danger if they had ecen inclination that something might happen. Sure, they have made sure that she is safe.
Yeah and plus my family has those knifes and magnet and they don’t fall, they know how to protect their daughter. They shouldn’t be shamed for it.
When i get older me and my family will live in a van
@@lenarichard274 shamed for it? I trust nothings gonna be flying around to hurt anyone but what about mommy just watching her baby poking herself in the face with that pencil...???🤔😵💫🤣
Man u killed that shower!!! So pretty!! I love your home and those colors are gorgeous!!. And little Nora is just as pretty as a doll!
YES, the shower is gorgeous!!! Worth of all that effort from Mothers Creating Beauty Together!!!
Beautiful home and beautiful family, Nora is adorably pretty.
I love how the baby is doing her own narrating while momma is talking Haha Beautiful home bus btw. Best wishes X
Wait a second that is GOLD! Taking pictures of cherished items and donating them!!
"Less house. More home." -- I love that
So in the thumbnail the decor was different and the little boy already born!!!!! Ahhh, CONGRATS!!!! Would love to see an update with both beautiful little children. Great family!
Yes I think people are seeking something different. Something that offers more freedom. Freedom in various forms, times, money, energy and emotional stability. ...
Cute family.
I wish my hubby, of 45 years, & myself had lived our dreams.
Enjoy life now.
I agree with you. I am now a 58 year old widow. I still have dreams but, sadly, it won't be this.
This home is so pretty and his wife is so pretty. Gods hand is over your life. Hugs & prayers to you and your family. Cherish them. 😇
You had me at that teal interior! Totally gorgeous home! 😉🇨🇦
Such sweet people and I love how you want a big family and want to stay tiny! You will make it work just beautifully. Your bus is lovely and cheerful. Many Blessings. 👏🏻
You did a great build working together on your bus; but baby Nora is the best part. All the best to your growing family.
This is fantastic a great way to live, The bathroom is amazing.. Many years of peace and happiness to this family..
This is certainly proof that not everything in your build has to be new, it just has to be functional, working and clean/needs a light clean. This family has made everything work for them. Great build with thought into your needs now in the future. Congratulations guys on a great, beautiful build 👍👏👏😍
Lisa UK 🇬🇧👋
Although I am a big city guy and I rather live in an apartment or whatever in the city, I really liked your bus!! I wish I could travel that way, but I think I like more comfort, and you know, having a place that doesnt move :)
But you have perfectly achieved your plan of having a home and looks cozy and you can know one new place every time you want. Congrats!
Very homey. Love the colours. And all the hanging wicker. Cutest nursery I have seen in a bus.
What a beautiful family, God bless you, and your beautiful baby she is adorable.
Such a beautiful bathroom a cute cradle n lovely warm living room n bedroom. God bless ur family with health happiness n loooooooooong life.
Who else was reaching for the pencil to take from the baby? Arrggh. LOL This family is adorable, living their dream. So cool to see them in the beginning stages of family and work. I know they will do well. ~Smile!
Oh my goodness I'm about to go through the TV screen right now to ever do gently take that pencil out of that baby's hand. The dad even reached for it but let her play with it. Cute young family though 🥰
I love the little thing above the sink the says Lafayette, GA. I am from right around that area, I travel work and have looked around at videos for Skoolie’s for me and my family while I’m out on the road working. Which I am currently in NY, and seeing that sign made me slightly miss home. But I mainly wanted to say I adore your family’s tiny home, my favorite feature has to be the butcher block back splash. This is the first video I’ve seen with it done and it looks absolutely amazing. My wife’s favorite feature is the makeup compartment with mirror sling. But we both adore every feature of this Skoolie, and thank you for both for sharing.
And then ,and then, and them, and then love the style and everything too
God bless you as you 'build' your family💗 Stay close to one another😉
I´ts nice to see a young family growing up an try to live a indipendent life. I wish you all the best!
I am obsessed with those baskets on the wall. Love that idea.
It’s great that you’re planning to have a large family!
Omg this is the best bus I have seen. You designed it well. Again great job!
YOUR HOME IS SO BEAUTIFUL ! AND I LOVE HOW YOU HAVE EVERYTHING SO ORGANIZED. 🙂
and then....
just kiding. amaizing home, love it
Very nice looking family Beautiful Baby, Beautiful Bus on wheels love it.
So cozy and comfy bus and adorable family.
The 2020 version of the Partridge family. All the best to this family.
I love the layout of the baby's crib and how close it is to the master bedroom.
One of the nicest videos about on the road living I’ve seen, and I’ve watched hundreds. Lovely family.
I always wonder where these van lifers get their mail. Lovely bus/home by the way :)
A family member will take it then they will pick it up or a mail place
P.o. boxes too
Love that the shower isn’t that usual 24x24, so tiny u can barely move. Also, love that the toilet 🚽 has it’s own room.
This bus make over is beautiful. One of the best one I seen so far. Love the color choices and the decorations idea. Your decor is so nice. Excellent job done. 🥰
Truly love you bus conversion, it's a beautiful home.
All the best and God bless your young family and your dog.
Beautiful Bus conversion Job well done
I love colors and thr tile in the bathroom is really nice.... love it...
Nothing wrong with living tiny with a growing family. Living with less stuff keeps you from drowning in junk. I found that the bigger the home the more junk I collected. The home becomes a place for junk instead of a place to call home for family to live life. I always felt better without all the stuff, it's just clutter that made me feel closed in. Being buried in junk wasn't relaxing or enjoyable living in my own home it was stressful feeling.
I went from a 3bd 2ba 2200 Sq ft home to a small one bedroom about 400 square ft and still looking to go smaller. I'm doing a short bus conversion hopefully will be done soon if all goes to plan. I think living tiny is great and you'll have extra money to do the things that really matter instead of being what I call house broke. That's when the house takes all your money you can't do anything else... I wish I knew about tiny living when my children were young their now grown. I struggles so much financially raise my children if I knew about tiny living I would have done it in a heartbeat. It would have relieved most of my stress and I could've been able to afford doing many things with my children we could of enjoyed going places seeing new things it would have opened many doors that wasnt open to us due to finances. I think bus and tiny life is fabulous way to raise children and enjoy life and each other....
Best wishes to you and your family enjoy life together as a wonderful family...
Really cute couple and lovely home
May I just say your tiny house is absolutely beautiful
Nora is precious! I love your bus!!🥰
👪 a happy family and comfortable living 🙋
A nice Home on wheels 🚌
You guys deserve every coin you earn from this dope ass build and design. Well frecken done! So cozy and inviting. I love it! 👏🏾 👏🏾👏🏾
I love everything on your bus...the best amazing place is the baby room😍the first time i saw this....wonderful family... amazing bus....
It’s so gorgeous & spacious.
I love the Teal Colour
That looks so cozy. Well done. Your baby is so cute but I can tell she's very smart as well. After the bus maybe tiny home on a gooseneck.
I love Boondockers Welcome! I've been using it for a few months and have had a great time with it. I really love the decor of their bus. I also love that they've planned ahead for their families.
Love your home. Great job. Nora is a cutie. Admire you guys so much for living your life and not being a slave to the American dream of big house big cars big credit card debt.
Your family is great. And your little girl is so cute. That bus is better then my apartment!
This is so nice! And Nora is adorable!
So nice 2C an actual bathroom with a bathroom SINK 4a change. So many people don't bother with one.👍😉
Beautifully done interior! Great farmhouse sink! Amazing storage space...love the pullout shelves. I love having all the solar power...I would love to have that on our Class C. You guys have done great work! Thanks for sharing it with us!❤️(Jane)
All most children want is plenty of attention from their parent/s and living like this, they should have it! Education is so much easier when you SEE the things you read about. My kids always made straight A's in geography from the traveling we did while they were growing up. Traveling can teach children so much about American History, love for the country, love for people of all nationalities, on and on! I find the generation of young people growing up now are much less interested in "things" - I sometimes wish they were a little more sentimental about my "things" but the idea someone shared of taking pictures and passing "things" onto someone that can really use them or on to a museum! LOL I LOVE watching these types of RUclipss instead of the daily "bad news" on TV!
Stunning renovation and love the turquoise cabinets!
Love, love, love your wonderful bus home on wheels😍 Many blessings🙏
Nice job. Good luck to your family. Your baby is so sweet.
she is adorable. love the bus too but she takes the show, I know u are proud parents
I love this house! They did a great job, and they seem like they are very happy. And as many tiny home tours and van life/bus life videos as I’ve watched, I’ve never heard anyone mention the boondockers app. That was a great tip!
I love the paint in this skoolies! Most are wood walls sooooo I just love the walls in this build!
Beautiful home! Precious little girl! They are truly blessed! Leslye

THAT SHOWER IS THE BOMB DIGGIDY!
What a beautiful family and a beautiful bus home too!
Your home is so cozy. Really so nice. You did a great job of putting it all together! I wish you the very best. I am a bus driver....I have driven your style bus many of time's. There not to poppy. Be for going up a hill push down on the accelerator way be fore the hill. They do die....It's just the style of the bus...turning radius is not the greatest either......I f down the Rd you invest in a bigger our newer one get a Rear Engine. Much quieter and Air Ride to. Little different driving to. I hope that was a help.... Be safe!!
Nice bus, love your sliding pantry. I love your home.
Oh what a beautiful family... Your home is lovely. I wish everyone was as happy as you.... God Bless ya. Love from a jealous wanta be Van dweller in S.C. SOON😁
Y YO ENCERRADA EN MI CASA CON ESTA CUARENTENA, QUE GUSTO NOOO QUE ENVIDIA ME DAN; QUE PUEDAN IR A DONDEQUIERAN...
👍👍
I love this, the nursery nook is so adorable
They should make a small toddler bed that goes from the wall to the hallway. It's the perfect size. They could even use pieces from the crib.
Amei ...a bebê é a cópia. ..xerox do pai ...a casa maravilhosa ...parabéns felicidades
This makes me feel like I’m wasting my life away being stationary. We have gotten lazy with age. Our days usually run one into another and time flies by. We watch tv or I’m always cleaning. Anyone else feel the same? May one day I’ll get to see more than houston tx. Gang members, shootings, murders an overpacked streets. I wish we could just move to the country. I’m sick of living this corrupt city. Times have definitely changed here in houston an it wasn’t for the better! I do love your bus. I shop goodwills an thrift stores. I’m obsessed with wicker and different color pieces of wood for decor. Even though my sis calls it trash! I call it showing my personality who wants a bland home with no decor? Not me! Y’all are a cute family. Stay traveling you’ll have memories when memories is all that matters in the end. 💜
Good job. Good life. That’s my dream house for me and my 3 kids.
Very informative.
You two are living the dream (I will in future be living as entreprenuer)
Nice bus, well constructed. I love the neutral colors pulls in natural sunlight making home seem larger than it is.
You have made very good use of space. It is a home. Great!!
Awesome video, but what I need to know is the color tone on those cabinets. They look amazing.
FromDkWithLove I love the blue color also
@@valerieann2751 Yeah, it's too bad we haven't been able to figure it out yet.
LOVE YOUR SHOWER! All of it is lovely. Well done!
The shower is gorgeous 😍
A very happy couple 😊
The shower is beautiful! You have great taste.
I live it!!It looks and has such a feel of home!!
It would be so cool to see an update on their bus and family
Beautiful home on wheels and family!!♥️♥️♥️
That's brilliant. The wheel well in the shower. I love it!
Beautiful family GOD bless you
Very nice...love the baby crib room.
Would have been awesome to see the process of them decorating this bus from scratch. I’m really curious to see the whole process of the getting a whole oven in there and hooking it up, the shower & the separate toilet room.
