- Another Road trip to Delta, but from Mary's perspective! We went looking for the Delta Clearwater Recreation Area, went shopping at IGA and of course we had to stop and get Buffalo Burgers! Come join us on our trip, it was such a beautiful day.

I have heard of Delta from other vloggers also..stopping there to eat is a big thing. You ladies always deliver the goods when it comes to showing us around..I am always grateful to have the pleasure of going with y'all..lol.Thanks. We will have plenty to share when she gets here for sure, Golden Days, The fair, the eskimo olympics, fishing, road trips, on and on. I am gonna be really tired, LOL.
Delta looks so peaceful what a Great day to take a trip. Fur babies enjoying the ride. That last store had alot of everything in it,,nice. We usually go to the Delta store for specific things, I never paid attention to the everyday item prices, yipes. It kills me how many stores here sell Costco products, per item. I have a couple of nurse friends that are getting after me about my knees. I am going to find out about insurance benefits on Monday 🥰 Thanks again Bonnie 💖💕💖

Hi Ladies. Absolutely beautiful video. Your drives were breath-taking. Can imagine what it was like to be in person. Hubby and I were talking and we decided we were homesick after watching this and we haven't moved there yet. Beaan and Kip are such good doggies in the car. I am convinced our Biscuit has agoraphobia. We tried for an entire year after we got her to take her on walks but she did not want to cooperate. So, she runs around the yard for exercise. She's only 18 lbs and it takes both of us to take her to the vet. That's ok ... she's perfect just as she is. Kip in sunglasses .... priceless 😎😎😎. Just curious, if you and Mary left Fairbanks around 2 p.m., what time did you get home? Looks like there is still alot of daylight in Alaska. That makes travel alot better. Thanks for the bonus video. Enjoy your weekend.
Haha, cute, homesick but never lived there. I like it! Kip gets a little crazy when he sees other dogs or squirrels, LOL. He barked at the wood burl animals in the Knotty Shop yard on the way to Delta Junction, that's why we explained that they weren't real to him when we pulled up toward the end 🤣🤣🤣 You furbaby sounds like a cutie. It was around 8pm when we got home, It's still light all night though. I have issues seeing in the dark, I rarely drive out of town when it starts getting dark. Have a good weekend too 🥰💖

You went to my old stomping grounds, I lived at fort Greeley for 4 years in the mid 70s my dad was in the service there I was a teen miss Alaska so much awesome video

I used to live in both Fairbanks and Delta, the drive between the two places is 90 minutes, spent a lot of time on that road, it was a big deal to go to Fairbanks, usually stopped for ice cream at the Knotty Shop. Had a good job at Fort Greeley, there was a large Russian community in Delta, I miss the scenery and the serenity, but not the long winters.
How Fun!!! I don't drive out of town in the winter so don't stop driving in the summer, haha
Does anyone commute? SomersinAlaska says they don't do property tax

@@AlaskanBearsVlogs Yeah, we are military so our time was up unfortunately! But we will be back permanently when his time is up 😊 And I am aching for that day! Until then, it's youtube videos to the rescue!
Delta Junction is where my favorite Gun Store Owner was before he closed and moved to Oregon around 94. Delta doesn't look that much different than my time but more beautiful. You have Buffalo Burgers; we have Moose burgers only ours cost 20 dollars, before the fries and onion rings. The Fish look so good; do you know how to 'clean' them Sherri? Some of those hills near Elison AFB has huge boulders that we used to paint our unit insignias on but it was all stopped years ago. Apparently, some of the people nearby didn't like us painting up their rocks. As always, you make Fairbanks and the surrounding areas look really good to see.
My favorite gun shop in town was "Down Under", there was another, next to Sport King, I liked them too. All three of those places are gone 😥 I love the buffalo burgers, so tender. I have never cleaned fish, not that I remember though. I am sure I will this summer 😉 Gotta learn sometime, I have watched 1000's being cleaned. That hill by the Chena flood project halted the project for a bit because there were ancient writings on them, the Smithsonian came in and took a bunch away, then when people started painting them, they used to clean them all of the time, finally they gave up. Some day we will investigate the area. I still want to get to the pipeline to see if I can find your etching.

Hey pretty ladies!...Love buffalo burgers,we have a place HERE called Buffalo House!...u can get buffalo burgers,as well as hot dogs,steaks and enchiladas,all made from buffalo!Yes I hear Delta wilderness AREA is awesome!...Maybe U ladies should try a camping trip there!...Be Safe!!....P.S. Now be honest,did u and Mary feed them dogs any of that buffalo meat ??...LOL!
Oh wow! Your Buffalo House sounds soooo good! I keep looking at all of these camping areas, I really want to camp again. I have a lot of tents and gear, we used to camp all of the time, I miss it so much. HAHA, they sell patties for the dogs, but they had too many treats that day, they did get tator tots though.
