Last year I watched a South Korean thriller on Netflix called Ballerina assuming it was the John Wick spinoff lol. It ended up being awesome though so I wasn’t even mad.
It looks like John Wick is one of her Mentors.

Not gonna lie, after seeing her in fight scenes in No Time to Die and in this trailer, Ana De Armas is perfect for the MCU as Mystique.

Keanu Reeves in the trailer looks like he been in a war so I assume he has fighting scenes. The trailer was awesome and overall I'm excited for this movie

Ballerina is basically John Wick 3.5
She also have great action scenes in The Gray Man and Ghosted

Have you seen the South Korean BALLERINA movie? It's GREAT.
He doesn't watch anything outside of Hollywood unless it grows too popular for him to ignore.
Actually I just remember that scene where younger (kid) Ana de Armas was recruited by Winston "played by Ian McShane" kind of reminds me or sort of similar to the scene of "SALT 2010" where Evelyn Salt "played by "Angelina Jolie" was recruited to be trained as a Russian spy(?) after her parents died in car accident or something. Both scenes have similarities like kid in this movie and in Salt movie both came from an accident based on the blood on the head of younger (kid) Ana de Armas and been approach by a mysterious man.
Solid looking trailer. Great action. How do you feel this will perform as compared to Atomic Blonde, Black Widow, and The 355???

Looks really great, Ana de Armas should have been the lead in the last Bond film it would have been a lot better with a different story as well.
Should've replaced the Nomi character entirely.
If this movie will do well or very well at the box office.. watch them doing at least 2 other Ballerina movies 😂 or even another CHAPTER frickin' FOUR ..IF it will be as successful as the John Wick movies. I mean we already got rumors of them wanting to maybe do a John Wick part 5 🤣 This ''BallerFrickinRina'' could be another good opportunity to ''miIk it'' for more extra cash 😄 If this will be well received by the public ..they may ditch that John Wick part 5 movie idea and just continue with Ana Ballerina 😂

Just a simple question, who is this movie for? Men don't want to see a woman punched in the face, women don't want to see that, kids don't want to see that. Atomic Blonde with a much bigger female star, Charlize Theron, bombed at the box office, despite pretty decent fight scenes and being well-directed and well-acted. But no one wanted to see Charlize punched in the face. I am sure Ballerina will be a thousand times better than the Harley Quinn movie or The Marvels or Charlies Angels or Madam Web. Furthermore, IMO, another huge obstacle this movie has is the mass audience burn-out of seeing lame idiotic poorly written, poorly acted, poorly directed, man-hating girl-boss action movies and TV series. Even if they slap the John Wick seal of approval on it, who could blame audiences for thinking this is just another one of those idiotic movies since that seems to be the only kind of action movies being green-lit.

@@DIDI.TITI777 $51.7 million US box office, of which the studio only gets 50%. Cost over $30 million to shoot, add another $30 million for the lame marketing effort and the studio is dependent on great international revenues (of which they only get 20 to 30%) to make it profitable. Int'l box office was even less than the US box office. Maybe studio magic accounting called it profitable, but for a Charlize movie, it was terribly disappointing as they were hoping for well over $100 million US box office. I liked the movie, I liked Charlize in the movie. No hate, just pointing out simple reality, that Hollywood seems intent on ignoring.
Definitely on my “must watch list.” 🩰
