Last year I watched a South Korean thriller on Netflix called Ballerina assuming it was the John Wick spinoff lol. It ended up being awesome though so I wasn’t even mad.

Keanu Reeves in the trailer looks like he been in a war so I assume he has fighting scenes. The trailer was awesome and overall I'm excited for this movie
Actually I just remember that scene where younger (kid) Ana de Armas was recruited by Winston "played by Ian McShane" kind of reminds me or sort of similar to the scene of "SALT 2010" where Evelyn Salt "played by "Angelina Jolie" was recruited to be trained as a Russian spy(?) after her parents died in car accident or something. Both scenes have similarities like kid in this movie and in Salt movie both came from an accident based on the blood on the head of younger (kid) Ana de Armas and been approach by a mysterious man.
when I think of strong female characters it's Kate Winslet in Lee or The Reader, Rosamond Pike in A Private War or Cate Blsnchett in Tar or Disclaimer. Lionsgate is milking every kady penny they can get by spinning off Ballerina and giving the false impression that Reeves is integral to the film. Sounds me it's little more than a cameo. The hook to get John Wicks fans to attend. In Black Widow -Ballerina's ba kstory is so similar and derivative- there was no Avenger to justify her existence. But in Ballerina Wick is there.Why? To what purpose does he serve? The film was slotted for release this past summer but was held reshot to include more action scenes why wasn't she believable enough? I know based on the overwhelming positive response to DeArmas

If this movie will do well or very well at the box office.. watch them doing at least 2 other Ballerina movies 😂 or even another CHAPTER frickin' FOUR ..IF it will be as successful as the John Wick movies. I mean we already got rumors of them wanting to maybe do a John Wick part 5 🤣 This ''BallerFrickinRina'' could be another good opportunity to ''miIk it'' for more extra cash 😄 If this will be well received by the public ..they may ditch that John Wick part 5 movie idea and just continue with Ana Ballerina 😂
Just a simple question, who is this movie for? Men don't want to see a woman punched in the face, women don't want to see that, kids don't want to see that. Atomic Blonde with a much bigger female star, Charlize Theron, bombed at the box office, despite pretty decent fight scenes and being well-directed and well-acted. But no one wanted to see Charlize punched in the face. I am sure Ballerina will be a thousand times better than the Harley Quinn movie or The Marvels or Charlies Angels or Madam Web. Furthermore, IMO, another huge obstacle this movie has is the mass audience burn-out of seeing lame idiotic poorly written, poorly acted, poorly directed, man-hating girl-boss action movies and TV series. Even if they slap the John Wick seal of approval on it, who could blame audiences for thinking this is just another one of those idiotic movies since that seems to be the only kind of action movies being green-lit.

Maybe studio magic accounting called it profitable, but for a Charlize movie, it was terribly disappointing as they were hoping for well over $100 million US box office. I liked the movie, I liked Charlize in the movie. No hate, just pointing out simple reality, that Hollywood seems intent on ignoring.
