J'ai essayé au maximum d'avoir des prix compétitifs pour vous. 😉
Ce magnifique chant est ici interprété par la Promotion Lieutenant Jean Vallée de la Corniche du Prytanée National Militaire.
Le régiment de Soissonnais est un régiment d’infanterie du royaume de France créé en 1684. Il est licencié le 5 novembre 1762, à l’exception des grenadiers incorporés dans le corps des Grenadiers de France.
Son nom provient de la ville française de Soissons (Picardie). Le régiment est principalement connu pour sa participation à la guerre contre la Ligue d’Augsbourg (1688-1697), à la guerre de succession d’Espagne (1701-1714) ainsi qu’à la guerre de succession d’Autriche (1740-1748).
-Drapeau du Régiment:
Drapeaux bleus avec barre diagonale jaune dans chaque carré.
-Habillement:
Veste, collet et parements bleus ; boutons et galons dorés ; poches ordinaires garnies de 5 boutons.
La Marche du Royal-Soissonnais aurait été composée aux alentours de 1750, par la suite les soldats ajoutèrent à cette marche des paroles.

Je veux au bout d'une campagne,

Des héros que l'on accompagne,
On saisit l'air, on prend le ton.
Des ennemis ainsi que des belles,
On est vainqueur, en s'imitant.

Si jamais vous manquez d'idée je ne pense pas qu'il y ait sur votre chaine "Pelot d'Hennebont" ; "La danaé" ; "Le roi Louis" ou encore la Strasbourgeoise. Par ailleurs, je n'ai jamais trouvé la Marseillaise chantée en entier par un cœur. Merci pour les chants que vous nous proposez.

Il s'agit d'une promotion du Prytanée National Militaire et non de Saint-Cyr. Cependant beaucoup de cette promotion ont intégrés Saint-Cyr par la suite. 😉

(Not trying to be sarcastic just genuine) How does it feel to live in this country nowadays? ESPECIALLY on July 4th!! Like...if it hits me that I have ancestors who sided with the British I would not have been able to rap my head around that fact!

I never had a big sense of patriotism or national identity, and separation from Britain happened two and a half centuries ago, so it's not something to be angry about in the current day. For instance, I'm fascinated by the organization, music, and aesthetics of the Ancien Regime's army, rather than fixating on them as the "enemy."

Is this an accurate assumption?

J'aime mon pays, mais même en étant ni fervant patriote ni nationaliste, je dois avouer que cette marche est magnifique ! 😲😮. Respectons ces soldats tombés lors de guerres réelles pendant ce 18ème siècle.
Et dernier point, nous avions à cette époque la meilleure armée terrestre ^^ si je ne me trompe pas.
