Me and my friend watched this when I went to her house, we were in 6th grade and we decided to react to some jumpscares and record it. She loved FNAF and we selected this video. I still have that recording and boy, I have watched it about 1000 times already and I dies laughing every single time 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂! Our reactions were worth recording! I really likes this vid btw! Keep it up!
I like how the protag has the power to just go invincible in this version and does not use it xD I mean, 6:50 would have been a gameover in the game, but he just hid in the closet since nobody was there. and later, nightmare sees him and chases him under the bed, but is unable to kill him
These are really pretty well done. Though personally for me this kinda cements the fact that Jumpscares are indead "scary" but all it is, is just a loud noise and a "boo" aspect. Fnaf has really good sound design, but I think calling it a "horror" game, kinda gets a bit underwhelming considering the only thing that you're truly getting as a consequence is a loud jumpscare. And that jumpscare, means death. So if you struggle with the game, it's jumpscare after jumpscare, which gets very old very quickly. The player is getting angry at the game rather then getting terrified. Real horror relies on not only jumpscares, but subtlety, psychological questioning, mental attributes, and the dire situation that is accuring. That's why Resi & Silent Hill are so effective. The consequences are more than just a jumpscare. And those games put you in situations where careful planning and strategy are what's gonna keep you alive. You could say the same about Fnaf, but each fnaf is so little in terms of actual active gameplay that it's easy to understand what you're supposed to do through just trial & error. I like Fnaf, but it's more of a thriller to me than it is horror. Fnaf has never given me nightmares, nor has it genuinely terrified me outright. It's tense for sure, and the scares do startle me. But that's all it can do. Where as Silent Hill can utterly make my stomach crawl, scare, and unsettle me more than anything else.
i find that horror games where u can die kinda ruin the horror aspects of the game for me. cuz after you die and have to redo it you already know what’s going to happen so it makes it a lot less scary. it also gives you a break from the tense suspense that you are feeling while playing, and kinda ruins the vibe. idk i’m just not a huge fan.
