Sick!! I recently found out via tech disc that my standstill speed matches or exceeds that of my x-step drives! Nailed a standstill at 67.5 mph yesterday, and I wanna see what it does out on the course!
Thanks for the video, your spin rate (and calf muscles) are absolutely insane 💯

You're absolutely insane!! I'd do anything for just 350 or 400 and you out here throwing bombs standstill. Gonna grind your videos and hope to throw more than 250 soon! Right now my sidearms go slightly farther at around 290ish.

You'd probably be surprised how close your standstill gets to your x step drives.

I personally love your form, and it's made me reevaluate standstill throws for myself to fix swing issues. I've made some breakthroughs thanks to you and Owen.

Everyone I know with a tech disc has fallen in love with them. I can’t wait to receive mine. I want to set a baseline, and then see how quickly I can improve!

Yeah I'm hoping to strengthen my relationship with the guys over there and maybe do a seminar at some point!

    Hat Mic is OP 🫡

As someone who's put the mic on my collar for years, honestly the cap is the most secure location for the mic, with the least possible accidental noise (from hitting it during the swing, or moving around on the shirt). 🙂

I'm dubious of the tech disc distance transferring to reality

Skepticism is fair, although I have seen 0 reason to doubt it. When my max was ~530 in the field, it was 530 on the tech disc as well. If anything you get wind and a skip outdoors. I'll have a series coming out where I try to break 600(with wind+skip) as soon as the weather turns!

I have one and it's pretty accurate for me. Of course, it takes a certain disc with certain numbers and uses that as the base. If you are throwing with different disc parameters, your field results could vary tremendously. It's accurate for me, though.

Aahh... Trying out a little bit drunken kung fu style rocking back and forth. 😂
It doesn't feel so abrubt. It's like accelerating into it before hitting the nitro.
