Welcome to our Glacier Viewing Day Vlog onboard the Disney Wonder! This was one of my favorite days from the cruise (let's be honest though, every day on this cruise was the best day ever). :') I am so happy we got to celebrate Sean's birthday with Alaska Mickey and Alaska Minnie.
Here's a GLIMPSE at the character schedule in their Alaskan outfits. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHECKING THE DCL APP ON GLACIER VIEWING DAY FOR THE MOST UP TO DATE INFORMATION, but this should at least give an idea of what to expect.

AGAIN, this is just a glimpse of the schedule.
We got in line to meet Mickey bright and early at 7:45 AM and we were probably the 10th group to meet him. We sailed through Tracy Arm and got as close as we could to the glacier which unfortunately was pretty far.
The Glacier Explorer Port Adventure was something we originally signed up for but I canceled shortly after booking because I felt $309 per adult was too expensive for a 2.5 - 3 hour (especially since we can go on a 7.5 hour wildlife & glacier cruise for less than that out of Seward, AK).
If seeing a glacier up close is important to you $309 might be worth it, especially if The Last Frontier is a once in a lifetime kind of trip.
They brought a huge chunk of ice onboard the ship and it was fun to slowly melt away as our cruise progressed through the days.
