I don’t think I can lift off from this loss. Everyday I think about him. Didn’t meet him, didn’t see him live. But for me he was always/is still there. Miss David Berman. Like a long lost friend or relative.
Oh man, I got to see him it might've been the happiest night of my life mostly cuz they toured behind what I feel is Silver Jews greatest album . It's just so good those lasrmt 2 albums mom mom mmm, I mean I love em alll but w Cassie it just added soooooo much, a happier ,poppier Berman, songs you could dance to, Candy Jail, sometimes a pony gets depressed,,every song on those last 2 albums just killed it , really the 1st time 1 could say they had hits, and multiple hits like Pavement finally Berman got some hits other than maybe the best song ever written Trains Across the Sea which could be sung by almost anyone like Shane Macgowan, Leonard Bernstein, tim Armstrong, ,iron & wine, Keith Richard's, etc and so on ,also random rules and the silly Tennessee
