I just saw a news report of a woman spreading the word about the dangers of those claws because she was in a car accident and the claw cause a serious head injury on impact to the car seat headrest - they showed the indentation to her skull on the x-ray and was seriously injured. So she suggested when you drive prop the claw toward your crown to help prevent injury.
