This is the best ww2 shooter ever made. The way you become a squad leader and control a fire team and assault team is just unparalleled. No other game recreates the realistic tactics and feeling of being an aggressive, elite military force in Ww2 like BiA RtH30 and BiA EiB. Find, Fix, Flank those Krauts. You aren't a Rambo Call of Duty douche, you're in control of a powerful group of guys you need to utilize and you must be tactical. That's how it was as a paratrooper back then. The authenticity, the tone, the audio design and the plain fun is all there. If BiA made a comeback with a modern current iteration of this series, it would be a huge hit. Ww2 is back and the younger generations want a taste of Ww2 games. Gearbox needs to release a new BiA game. Enlisted has Ai squadmates but the implementation is terrible. You need to be able to command the squad to assault and fire on command like BiA did. The squad Ai in Enlisted is a joke. You cant even command them to fire and they never take proper cover.
One of the best ww2 fps games in my opinion Story for me is excellent Gameplay: Unique, where you Command your men, not a usual run and gun games like Call of Duty Historically Accurate locations due to the developers extreme effort Its sad that they did not continue from hells highway. I really wish they make a sequel of it.
I think a lot of people get frustrated and give up when first starting to play this game. It's so unlike most shooters; no run 'n gun. Brothers In Arms requires practice and patience; caution, thoughtfulness and good decision-making. It takes awhile to learn how to anticipate and eliminate Jerry without panicking and getting killed. To understand your men depend on you and you on them to find, fix, flank and finish. To learn control inputs and make them reflexive. By design, marksmanship is less effective/important than suppression and flanking. Recognizing this paramount feature in BIA is key to successful and satisfying gameplay. There's a lot to learn in this game if you experiment, explore and take the time. Truly a classic and never gets old in comparison to others.
Crews, The real photo of Carentan near 4:42 is one of the best. Same with Dead Man's Corner at 8:30. Both are very well simulated in the game. I love the music in this informative documentary. Fifteen years old but anyone who learns how to play this game will understand why it will remain a classic.
@@tsfullerton Boy, I am a big fan of Brothers in Arms. I fell in love with Road to Hill 30 when I played it as a pre-teen in 2010. It was like nothing I had played before. I went to re-live the experience again and continue the story line not long ago. I have completed RtH30 in authentic already (finished the last mission on authentic this week). I am currently geeking on the extras and stuff. I’m almost done with EiB as well, and once I finish it I’m gonna play the third - and, unfortunately, last - installment of the main series, Hell’s Highway. I already watched a let’s play of the EiB and HH two years ago but I’m gonna play it anyways because I can’t find a good reason not to do so lol. Dude, I could go on for hours about those games… I have played the heck out of the first one. I always played it the way it was intended: - Find them - Fix them - Flank them - Finish them. I can complete any mission on Authentic without losing a single squad mate. I know every place for cover and every flanking route. Oh, I also played one of the IOS games they made. BiA 2: Global Front. Pretty cool for an IOS game back then. Can’t say the same about the other stuff they published for that platform 🤮 It’s really sad we haven’t gotten the successor of HH after all these years. I heard it’s been developed, but that’s coming from an old tweet a Gearbox developer made. We haven’t gotten much info about it ever since tho… and it’s been quite a while. No info about it on the E3 either… What about you? Have you played all the games? When did you start?
This epic game needs remaster

I agree. Cod ruined ww2 with its last two games

Man, I see you in every video about Brothers in Arms lol
@@csm5040 Well, what can I say. I love these three games. All of them. T.
@@tsfullerton It’s a shame there’s no active multiplayer. I would have loved to play with such a devout fan of the Brothers in Arms series
@@csm5040 Yes, a fan of Brothers In Arms from way back, throwback. Have you played this three game series?

We love this game ❤
I can handle snow
But can you handle waiting 12 years for the sequel?
It looks like Gearbox can't handle snow
@@Agentohyeah I think it’s accurate to say that the development of the next BiA game froze in the snow …
