Im going for the first time next year, I got the bunk beds for me and 3 others. As a first timer and first time flying internationally to the Netherlands, what can I expect? I've been watching lots of videos of the events and they all look epic
The version they used wasn't the best decision - or the speakers were badly calibrated. In the middle of the crowd you could only hear the bass and in the build-up of the track many people thought it started and moved left right (see 35:18). It was still awesome, but they should definitely work on their sound and the MCs should communicate a bit better when to do what, cause every year it's slightly different and you don't know what will come.
@@Propper2402 we started earlier in the Closing ceremony too, it was a bit confusing tbh, i think they should stick with the original left-right track, it only takes a few people to start early and the whole crowd follows
Went to the first and second edition (2003/2004)...and even though the location was smaller, there were only 12.500 people max...these stand high in my 350+ events I attended in the 20+ years since. 2015 and 2016 I worked at DefQon and both exceeded every expectation still... Q-Dance has never disappointed me in any way, can't think of any event (of the 25+ I went to) that wasn't amazing. But DefQon1 is something very different from what I've experienced anywhere, it's pure madness, pure love, pure fun. Sorry for rambling on, but the essence of my comment is 'You'll have the time of your life, cherish it'... (Just noticed you're from Sweden... you'll feel right at home here! Welcome!)
I've been watching Defqon 1 since 2013, and I still tear up during the final moments of our rituals. Can't wait to come visit you guys from the US one day. Never stop tearing up the skies Defqon 1.
2025 gonna be my first defqon :D saturday only, but im gonna have a blast because i am so impressed by power hour and the end show that i have to see it with my own eyes
Last year it was my first defqon and i had to leave early and i could only be there on saturday. I was so disappointed when i was leaving. But this year i already have the ticket for the whole weekend, see you in a few months, enjoy it, even for one day, the first one is incredible! 🎉🧡
