- root roting in adenium is major reason of dying adenium plant during or after monsoon season..bcoz fungal dieses are affected more then any season during monsoon i have give & easy solution to cure it & save your adenium plant in monsoon by root rot..
tip: 1.kip your adenium under shade during rain.
2. apply fungiside powder by spray or in pot every 20 days
3. observe every 2nd day your adenium by pressing roots.
don't give too much water during monsoon..

Thank you for your knowledge on Adenium growth and health tips. I am very excited to re-pot my plan! I didn't know that you could train the roots . I have my plant in a shed with a transparent plastic top and a heat lamp that has a photocell . the temperature dropped so low here(it actually snowed here! and it never stays but this year it did) to the teens in oF for several nights that my plant is shriveled on the side away from the heat lamp. I was so worried i would lose my Adenium but you have given me hope. Thank you again and may you be blessed!

Thank you for the video! I have a question, do you have problems before where the one part of the adenium stem turns yellow and soft but not the roots and branches? The roots are all nice and healthy but just the middle part of the plant is soft and dark yellow in color. Thanks!

Thank you for the video. You still have a section that is very well rooted. My entire base was rooted so I had to cut the adenium in half. No more roots just a flat cut base. Should I pot that 🤔 will it develop roots?

Very good information, thank you. I have a 1*2 cm part on my adenium which was rotten, i guess. I didnt remove it, because its now hard and not spreading. I use cinnamon and citronella for protecting her. +repotted. Do you think she will be ok, if the rotted part is kind of dried now.? Or no other way for healing, just by cutting out the affected part? Thanks
if rotten part is hard & dried then no need to worry & do not cut it ..

Sir roots of my adeniums are became soft, no rot yet. They were planted in cocopeat and perlite only. I removed the plants and kept in shade for recovery. When i replant them?

I have maybe a hundred ademinums that have been left abandon, and as you might expect I have lost a few. I am now resurrecting them, by repotting and treating as per your instructions for rot. However, I have a question. most have something like lichens growing on the stems. Is this a problem, and if so what can be done about ???

Thank you for this video. But the entire bottom of the Adenium has become rotten. Please tell how to save it?
This is a method that I developed as an experiment.
1) Cut out all the rotten parts of the root.
2) After the root cuts, I spray all the cuts with Daconil Fungicide and let it dry for a few minutes.
3) Then I apply liquid bandage (the sane stuff we humans use on cuts and abrasions) on the cuts and let that dry for 5-10 minutes before repotting.
The liquid bandage is an antiseptic and seals the cut.
4) Mix kittle cinnamon in with your potting soil and repot your adenium.
5) Wait 7 days before watering.
Give it a try. You have nothing to lose.

The lower part of the caudex is very soft but the part of the caudex near the main stem is firm and my adenium is growing new leaves. Should I cut off the soft caudex and repot it? What’s the ratio of the coco peat and perlite used? I noticed that you hardly ever answer any questions and yet in the video, you encouraged us to ask if we faced problems with our adeniums.
One thing is that in adenium you must cut soggy or roted portion even little bit soggy part can became big issue. If repot in summer take equal part of cocopeat & perlite.. If u use this media give water only when media dry enough

I should say also that the part that is rotting is not at the root. . .not uner the soil. It is between the outer paper bark and the trunk of the plant itself. I don't believe I need to cut into the trunk?

Monsoon here in Bali also, and old well established adenium is rotting on its trunk. I have peeled away the papery outer bark and removed the black rotting mass under in. I am afraid that the exposed inner trunk (which is not affected) will not grow new bark? How can I send you photos?

I did cut into the trunk. . .kept making shallow cuts until I saw no more brown rot. Had to remove a branch entirely as well. Then I covered all with cinnamon powder. Of course moved to protected but warm area. I worried about how many amputations can you do, before you lose the patient entirely? I felt like I was cleaning a wound on an animal or person.

Pull out plant from pot & put in shade area for 2 to 3 days check it.. When it's dry enough repot it again

+Sushma Verma ..adenium growth is Maximum during FEB to July..then gradually steady..yes your adenium pass through serious problem may be..so it takes time to recover.

don't worry..whenever you buy adeniums online this is happened normally.. as time goes it will set in new environment and then grow healthier

yes ..cut all rotten roots ...adenium can re grow only by it's cutting..so if upper portion of plant is healthy then cut all roots which are roted then put plant in shade for 2 days then apply fungiside powder on cut surface to prevent fungal disease then repot in well drain soil ..put plant in shade for 3 to 4 days ..after 2 day give water just spray & moist soil..
