Not sure how often he'd read messages but a long time ago I remember writing on a small piece of a gum wrapper and passing the note to a security person near the stage after making my way through to the front of a large crowd, to give a shout out to my hometown in Mexico that was 30 minutes away. It was the coolest feeling when we all heard the shout out. Unfortunate that someone misused his gracious gesture to try and have it there way that cost him his life. Such 🐂
