My grandpa knew beto quintanilla, from what my family told me they were close my grandpa and beto they sold drugs and would dodge people trying to kill them. Many people love his music and other dont which i cant see why, but he got some very fire corridos in my opinion, beto is one of the best musicians i heard in all genres combined

I was lucky to see one of his concerts in a San Antonio club shortly before he died. He looked much older than what he was but the guy could dance lol! He was very popular in south Texas during my youth and even though I did not listen to his music back then by choice, I instantly enjoyed his corridos.
Beto Quintanilla was in town the day before he died. The concert was free. I wanted to go so bad he was my living idol. I didnt go because I didnt like going to clubs. He is the only artist I have cried for when I found out he died.😭

One time a big timer in los angeles was visitting his mom in my hood and he heard the music anf came into the party. He gave all the kids 100 bux. Lined them up. Then got 3 more hours.. Grupo started at 8pm and finished at 9 am..
