Andy Backus from LongRangeHunting.com explains the pros and cons of the different Atlas Bipod models. Спорт
Echoing what has already been said-thanks for making this and this is SOOO much clearer than trying to compare on the factory website.
Thanks for taking the time to make a video, that arguably, AccuShot should have made. Great quality and information.
Sad that BT can't make this clear on their website and you had to make a video about the differences of the Atlas bipods. They make good products but suck at communication.
Greg Chapman --Thank you! They have at least three mounts and even the rail mount needs a multiple slot rail. So if you've adapted a Harris swivel to a single rail slot you need one of a half dozen adapters I've never heard of.
And the bipod swivels and pans , but they don't confirm whether or not you can lock it solid.
I'll invest $200-$300 for a quality bipod, but I think they owe some clarity as to what you get for your money.
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. Perfect explanation and demonstration of the differences. Exactly what I needed to know.
Great thing about the 2nd to last is if it's to tall you can always throw the legs 45 degrees backwards or forward !
Great high quality and thorough video! I was trying to determine which Atlas bipod to purchase for my application and your video provided all the necessary information. Great instruction -Thank you much!
Andy - great explanation of features and funtions. Just what I needed to know to make my purchase.
This is one of the best videos for understanding the differences. Good explanation on the difference in rotating legs. I can't understand why anyone would give a thumbs down??? Thanks good job.
Thanks so much! I am a new PRS shooter, and this was very helpful! I also appreciate the thoroughness of the information...
Very instructional video! Been looking for a video explaining the differences between the AccuShot models and this was right on! An excellent job:)
Great informative video, thank you for giving your time and sharing your expertise on these bipods!
Thank you for explaining the differences in Atlas bipod models. i couldn't find this information anywhere else.
Thanks for the info, i have been looking for a vid like this for ages.
Good breakdown one the last one. Was curious how that worked. Earned my like.
Dose the new prs line have thicker stronger joints also?????
I am looking to getting this in for my prs rifle.
Top review also well spoken.
Great Presentation Dude! I bought the BT46-LW17....
Me too.
im really glad you made this video. top notch
Great video! This is exactly what I needed. Thanks for the info.
Thanks for sorting it out for me.
I’m ordering mine this Friday.
Excellent review. thank you !
Very well explained sir. Thank you!!
So I was looking at getting the BT10 for my regular stock rifle would I need different mounting brackets or the ones that come with it will mount fine?
Thanks man helped me choose the right one.
Thank you! I was wondering what the rotating legs meant on their website
That 5h is awesome.
you're correct about those feet turning on you when on a flat hard surface but where I shoot we put carpet down first and using the pointed feet I have solved that problem. I did tough file down the ends of the spiked feet a bit so the legs just rest on the carpet not dig in and cause damage.
Excellent review!
Great review thank you
i just switched from harris too atlas and im not feeling it...i had a l lock on the harris and it was super easy to get the cant out but i dont have it with the atlas and it seems like im fighting it a lot....am i doing somthing wrong lol....i love the build quality but no matter what terrain your on it wants to center up your rifle....ive only shot it twice
Great help. Thank you
well done. great video!
Therea gotta be some diy to stop the rotating ends right? Tape glue? Or even after market ends
What kind of cheek piece do you have on the back of your rifle?
Thanks for the review on the bipod as well.

Mine has a neoprene ammo carrier slipped over it too.
Wow so happy I found this so I could get a BT46 instead of BT10!
thank you for the video.
what stock is that? and what details on that rifle sir? Its got my interest
The bt10 feets roll even in 45 degree angle?
Useful, thanks.
Where can I find the sling Stud hole
Perfect. Thanks.
You didn’t inform on the last one or didn’t show us the forward and backward stiting
what rear bag are you using?
How many slots does the BT46 need to mount? my hand guard is mlok I need a m1913 adapter. I'm just wondering would the aluminium rail from magpul work, it only has 3 slots.
Did it work Jiajian? I am in the same boat as you...
@@atrainfenway 3 will work.
I know that the Knock Offs are not as good as the real Atlas models, but for probably less than 50 rounds per year (savage mod 10 FLCP in 308) and probably all on the bench not hunting. How bad are the knockoffs, if they are modified and properly tightened up with the washers and "O" rings. For me there is a huge difference between $30.00 and $300.00
For a long range 6.5 grendal ar15 with 20in barrel what model would you recomend for me to buy
BT10-LW17 or BT46-LW17
They should ditch the V8 as the PSR addressed it's issues.
what adaptor or atachment you put on your rifle to accept the bipods? And do you attached to the swivel stud? TIA
If you have MLOCK, just get a picatinny rail that mounts to MLOCK
I like the product, but since when should a simple bipod cost almost half as much as the rifle it attaches to?
In your standard position the rifle still seems to be pointed uphill and not level.
When mounting the BT10-LW17, should the roll mark "Atlas Bipod Patented" be facing toward or away from you?
I don't think it matters. I would mount it based on which side you prefer the quick-release lever on.
noyaba I think it says on the directions that it should be facing you. That's how mine is mounted.
Thats what it says but I have never been able to figure out why.
@@christianstuartbroadus7254 In today's prices by the time you get the m-lok adapter and all, you're looking at 4 bills. My name will be showing ;-)
Hi, what brand is the rear shooting bag?
Thank you.
It's our own brand - www.longrangehunting.com/store/lrh-rear-shooting-bag.html
Len Backus Thank you!!
I'm glad my son Andy's video was helpful for you Joe. We carry them in our Long Range Hunting Online Store at the same MAP price as everyone else and we'd sure appreciate your business. www.longrangehunting.com/store/
That CANT feature is not lockable like you state. I bought this and returned it because after every shot the CANT would be thrown off. That's the problem with this unit is it's primarily made for moving target shooters, I called the mfg about it and they said to go with a BT-65 which has a lockable ball joint.
Thanks for this. That is exactly what I was imagining might happen.
The Atlas naming conventions make less sense than Glock's do. And that's saying something.
Just grind the rubber feet flat on one side.....then it won't rotate
Bipods are nice but being a pack shooter is best. Pack shooting is also the most consistent rest/platform. No matter what surface a pack is placed on, the gun will always react the same.
Atlas Bipods are good old fashion screwing .... They are way over priced and I can do a lot with the 300.00 they charge for this .. Show me were there is 300.00 plus dollars worth ?? I want to see it ???
I think you will find it, when you buy a $100 bipod.
And I bet they are made in China ????
On the website they advertise to be made in America.
