Watching Quang the Vietnamese lifter recover from her 2nd & 3rd jerks was something else she moves forward and then side to side with this little dance step before stabilizing. On the 3rd attempt while moving side to side she actually crosses her left foot over her right foot momentarily! And then recovers. Remarkable. Something that can’t be taught. She didn’t medal but an excellent competitor.
I just want to say that Pei is really too cute. Whether it's success or failure, her little expressions after completing an action-whether it's a sneaky smile or frustration-she really can't hide it at all. Of course, the most important thing is that she is getting stronger and stronger!
Concerning the remarkable Kim; announcers are correct she is more reminiscent of Kakishvilli because of very shallow dip when she catches her jerk, not even a quarter squat. You see shallow dips occasionally on the jerk drive not the catch. Also I started following the sport in 1973 that year the great Iranian Nassiri totaled a world record 240 in the 52 kg class, the 56 kg class was won by Kirov of Bulgaria with 257.5. Of course woman’s lifting didn’t exist. It’s not easy for me to wrap my OG mind around that.
@@SomeSeriousWeight I believe she will overtake Luo, given that she's 4 years younger. But they may also elect to place them in different categories. It depends on the IOC in this instance as well...
Also just seems like a weird rule to have. I get that it doesn't look very elegant, but isn't the point of this sport to do whatever you can to get the bar completely overhead?
well I raacked you guys for not bringing us non paying members coverage the very next day, but at least its here, even though I watched it before on a pirate video, its still good to hear your commentary on the event...I am still a fan, just a 70yrs old masters who cant afford live stuff...or Sky
Magistris is one hell of a fighter. That 3rd snatch was crazy.
Shake, rattle and roll but she held it.

Huge relief for the PRK coaches they will live to lift another day another great session thanks WH
Pei 2028!
You think she might go to the 63s to avoid competing with Luo?

I would have thought so, though she probably stands little chance against Ri Suk...
@@WeightliftingHouse Still 3 years and multiple months until LA, we'll just have to wait and see.
Please make the other sessions available worldwide too 🙏

Уважаемый WH, есть ли у вас возможность добавить видео полных сессии других весовых категории и мужчин если можно тоже. Спасибо
Regulament about elbows must be changed
People anatomy's different

We literally see people "pressing out" but still get white lights, but for others its an automatic red. LOL
@@bryecastro Imagine losing a medal because you didn't wear black sleeves lol

To one of the commentators: that "region" has a name. It's called Russia or Belarus, wherever she's from.

You're 70 years old and can't afford 20$?

I often hear the North Koreans whistle (and some spectators whistle back) before a lift. Anybody know what that's about?
I heard what could've been whistling on Kim's first clean and jerk, and those elbows are also quite suspicious...🧐
The 108 lift from north Korea looked like the right arm pressed out
