Sorry it's taken a while to upload a new video, Troops. I've been just enjoying some time off with my family and taking some space to reflect on this channel. I've decided that I need to do this going forward: ruclips.net/user/postUgkxoM6UOCGtjEGCZjcWaH2-DnXUZj1Ab4S5?si=9tpL3nwcj__Kg-_F So, I'm going to try and stick to this going forward, somehow. I need to recoup my time back for (a) my wife; (b) my fitness and; (c) my editing and recording ❤🥰 As for this video, well these 'wall walker balls' were recorded with the intention of a new video for the, "5 Random Objects" series. However, based on the things I touch upon in the link, above, I've decided to just add this to the "Single Object Triggers" series. I think it just makes sense for the success and sustainability of this channel to release shorter videos like this going forward. The revenue from ads is the same for a 20min video as it is for an 8hr video, so I need to be smarter with this if it's going to be successful and sustainable. The sounds in this video are very nice, starting off with gentle tapping on the cardboard box, then some lovely echo tapping on the plastic tube inside. The pièce de résistance however, is the gentle squishing that these little balls make when I get them out of the tube. I hope you'll find this video relaxing as it's my first upload of 2025 and I plan on releasing a lot more this year. Enjoy ❤❤
do whatever you got to to be happy, man. everyone deserves happiness, and just knowing that you wanna continue to pursue ASMR in 2025 is enough for me, even if they're shorter videos! i will suggest that every once in a while, maybe every month or so, you can release compilations of previous videos to appeal to the audience that likes longer videos. the 30 minutes are perfect for me since i fall asleep super quick, but i think that occasional compilations of your 30 minute videos could attract a whole other type of audience and really help your channel grow! i don't think the comps would take much time to edit, but that's just from someone who has minimal experience in editing and absolutely zero experience editing asmr videos 😅 again, do what you gotta do; that's just a little suggestion i thought of when reading your post. as always, your content is fabulous, and no matter what, i'm excited to see where you take it from here. happy 2025! here's to another year of greatness 🙇‼️
Thank you, I much prefer making the long videos but they take so much time to edit and the revenue from RUclips is the same as a 4min video. I'll still make long ones from time to time but I'm going to try boost the channel with a lot more of these shorter videos 🥰❤

Also, I have to say seeing you so focused on your craft, your effort at making us all feel good, is so endearing ♥. In regards to the duration of your videos, please, don’t worry at all about it. Personally, I think 30 minutes plus is more than enough, especially for videos focused on abstract sounds with no recognisable patterns, which can just be set on a loop without losing their magic. We will enjoy them no matter what. I wonder where the idea to include the dancing figures came from, by the way. They are a strange combination between disconcerting and hilarious! Definitely a very original and fun feature 😄. A big hug! And thank you so much for being there. Your work is much appreciated 🤗.
You always leave such nice comments, so thank you so much for that..... The idea for the dancing figures came originally from a tapping video. I wanted a tap dancer just to complement the sounds but it's just sort of become a thing that I do now ❤🥰

I think that making 1hr videos is more than enough length. I personally rarely watch the same ASMR video for longer than 1hr. And if someone does enjoy longer videos, there is always a "loop" button 😊

Some of my videos are 8hrs of unique content, but on average I'd say they're about 3hrs. I need to just be smarter with ASMR though. Time isn't something I have much of right now ❤🥰
I can't say how soon but I do definitely plan on making a better hand sounds video using a much nicer, warmer sounding mic next time. Not sure when exactly but definitely will 🥰❤
I just found this out today, thick leather work gloves are great for asmr if you tap your fingers together. If I were you, I would just try it with the mic, the gloves cost like 15 bucks so not crazy expensive
I already have this planned, but better. I have these really supple yellow leather garden gloves, fully lined and waiting to be recorded... stay tuned for that 🥰♥️ They cost me 50 bucks, they're special ones 😀

I'm usually gone in 20 or 30 minutes anyway so the 1 to 3 hour videos just eat up my battery when I'm already asleep. I tend to fast forward to the last 30 minutes of most videos so that it doesn't do that. Once I find a video that works good I tend to keep on going back to it so I'm more about quality over quantity.
No, it's not a basement just a regular room. It's more about the settings than the room. I get up at like 5am to record when there's not a lot of sound in the house ❤🥰

I can't say how soon but I do definitely plan on making a better hand sounds video using a much nicer, warmer sounding mic next time. Not sure when exactly but definitely will 🥰❤

I just found this out today, thick leather work gloves are great for asmr if you tap your fingers together. If I were you, I would just try it with the mic, the gloves cost like 15 bucks so not crazy expensive
I just checked, the gloves are actually insulated cow hide
I already have this planned, but better. I have these really supple yellow leather garden gloves, fully lined and waiting to be recorded... stay tuned for that 🥰♥️ They cost me 50 bucks, they're special ones 😀

Any mic can sound good if you get the settings right and, if like me, you get up at 5am when there's no sounds in the house or outside 🥰❤

@@smidget66 Well, I've been on a long break from ASMR but I will be back soon and I will be including more of these in the videos to come. I've just been taking some time for business, life, family and gym but I'm looking forward to record again soon 🥰❤
I'm usually gone in 20 or 30 minutes anyway so the 1 to 3 hour videos just eat up my battery when I'm already asleep. I tend to fast forward to the last 30 minutes of most videos so that it doesn't do that. Once I find a video that works good I tend to keep on going back to it so I'm more about quality over quantity.

No, it's not a basement just a regular room. It's more about the settings than the room. I get up at like 5am to record when there's not a lot of sound in the house ❤🥰
