I've only ever seen this by the younger, more glamorous ASMRtists - I don't know that anyone would want my hairy old face finger tracing, although I think I could get the sounds really nice ❤️🥰

Ahhh, I wouldn't put ads in the middle of an ASMR video. Even though it would double the channel revenue, there's nothing worse than being woken to an ad. So, you'll never find an ad in any of my videos, ever 🥰😊

Your sound setup is superb! Honestly, it's the perfect mixing. Nothing sounds /too/ crisp or /too/ dull. It's like a blanket for my ears lol. Sometimes ASMR can get a little grating, like the noises become too much after a while and I find myself looking for something else. But these are all kind of perfect, to be honest. Thank you again for another great video! :)
Awesome, that's so nice to hear (pardon the pun).... but yeah I get what you mean. I really like the stereo mic in this video. It has a warm, deep blanket type of sound from it, for sure. It's all in the editing though, it's hard to edit these and get the sound consistent all the way through. Other artists click a button on the editing software that does it for them but I do it manually so there should be a noticeable difference and I'm glad that you can hear that 🥰❤️

About the injuries, my foot is hurting and I now have some big stabilizer shoe thingie that weighs too much and feels like a boot while sleeping. Its not that bad tho, the shoulder is WAY more annoying haha, I cant move it behind my back and not hold/support my body while trying to relieve my foot to not give too much pressure on it. I really hope it will only be the 3 weeks the doctor said, because I was planning a trip to NYC with my dad and godfather in 3 weeks and 2 days. Very bad timing haha! anyway, thank you again for all you do, these long videos are just incredible
I know what it's like to be all busted up. It's no fun, and you're going to need to do the physio if you want a full recovery. For now, just relax, get as much sleep as possible, and make sure to eat and hydrate. You'll pull through. I'm glad the ASMR is helping you 🥰❤️
Well, I hope those were four hours of sweet dreams that you had 🥰❤️ I've been blessed for the last 22yrs with the most wonderful woman. I wouldn't change us for the world and I'll do everything in my power to keep her sweet. Together forever. We've been through the thick and thin of life and we're closer than anyone I know. Over the years I've seen what breakups do to people though. It's not easy and it cuts deep to the soul but please take some comfort in the fact that I've also seen these same people move on with their lives. These things really do make you stronger and you will move onto a better and more meaningful relationship. The hurt and confusion are just a necessary part of learning and moving on. Be strong ❤️
This has got to be one of if not THE most relaxing asmr videos I've ever seen, wow. This is actually crazy and somehow beats the other mainstream asmrtists I have watched before. And I'm not kidding when I say that, unironically, it's 100% true - you should make more of these! I'm loving these already!
Today I learned that such a thing as snail repellent tape exists. So then I had to find out how it works, how well it works; basically I went down a rabbit hole of snail repellent tape information. Thanks for that. And also thanks for the red umbrella sounds. I love the umbrella sounds.
Ahh, yeah I'd never heard of it either. My wife has taken up gardening and we live on a farm so there are loads of snails and they were invading her new greenhouse. I did some research and it was a toss-up between this copper tape and coffee beans. There's another rabbit hole for you, the wee snails don't like coffee much for reasons unknown 🥰❤️ Another little rabbit hole would be the red umbrella. It's part of a Sciuridae garden set so it's a tiny squirrel bench than mounts to the fence and the umbrella is his pergola. You put nuts on the bench and he comes and sits there for breaky 😊❤️
@on_another_rabbit_hole - yeah. I built this huge squirrel house in my front garden, suspended it 8ft in the air on a 4" post, with a big rope from his tree to his new crib. It's full of shelled almonds, hazelnuts and his favourite, pecans. We've called him Cyril the Squirrel and I put a brass plaque on his front door, "Cyrils House" ❤️🥰

I'm the same, tapping was never my fav but when I started to try it I started to quite like it. It's not an easy sound to get right. The distance from the mic needs to be on-point or you miss the bass sounds which is what I like most about tapping. Anyway, I'm rambling again. I'm just glad you were pleasantly surprised ❤️🥰
I don't like my own voice, but I've been practicing and my next upload has a little bit of a voice reveal. It's just a minute or two, me whispering in English to see if you all think I should stick to the immersive stuff or start to introduce some whispering ASMR too. Watch out for the "Scratching Only" video which is almost finished editing 🥰❤️
Tapping sounds tend to be my favourite, so I'm looking forward to this! Edit: Hah, I love the single Monin bottle at around 28:30 - between the tapping and the sort of bass-y response from the bottle it sounds like a helicopter flying overhead :D
@@ASMRtroops I think I missed a few while I went to lunch, but it didn't seem too fast. My two favourites were the single Monin bottle sound (see my edit above) and, in particular, the final trigger on the phones, which was absolute chef-kiss-tapping-heaven. Wonderful job 💜
Yeah, that Monin bottle. I could have spent more time with that as it was starting to make some really cool sounds. The helicopter is a good one, it actually does! My phone too, I've been tapping on that for a while and it was good to get that out of my system and actually record it for once haha.... It's good to get the *chefs-kiss for that ❤️😊

theres something unique about the audio that you dont see frankly in any other asmrtist. Who knew manual editing goes such a long way into making the sounds THAT much better!
ASMR should always be RAW and unprocessed. It's not at all like standard audio recording or standard audio editing where it wouldn't matter if some of the frequencies get lost. With ASMR though, we're trying to capture the most subtle nuances from the sounds and processing just takes them away. There's more to it than just 'not processing your audio' but it's definitely a huge factor and I'm just happy that you can hear the difference 🥰❤

I'm gonna be honest with you, I've been watching ASMR videos since 2018, 6 years that I have discovered lot of channels, different sounds, triggers. Now I discovered you and I'm truly amazed, the quality of the video, the sound, it's amazing. Keep it up man.
great part about tapping unlike most triggers it's not uniformal, and you can make it sound different by tapping on different materials or parts of the object
That is exactly right! As a result, you can easily make a full video with one object if you're tapping on different parts, at different tempos, at different distances and angles to the mic 🥰❤

I'm telling you this because it's got a lot of tapping sounds (but also leather sounds, whispering, rustling and fidgeting sounds too).... but I've used a different mic and I've used a really unusual tapping style as well. I wonder if you'd watch out for this video and let me know in the comments if you like the tapping style I've adopted this time? I like both, but they're two very different styles. Video will be called, "ASMR With $6,000 Shoes! Leather Sounds, Fidgeting, Rustling, Tapping Sounds and Soft Male Whispering"
What you're hearing is indeed RAW, straight off the mic, unprocessed audio. The only way ASMR should be if you ask me. Too many others process their audio as it's way, way easier 🥰

So, after my next upload (next will be a hand sounds only video), I'll be recording a new video in the same sort of format as this, your fav. one. However, this one will be a little different and I would hasten to say better in fact How could it be better you wonder? Well, it's because these last few weeks I have broken away from this format into an experimental phase with my ASMR, temporarily abandoning this style. What should make this better is the fact that during this time away, I've been carefully gathering trigger objects, preparing for it by selecting things that sound really nice. I am setting up my recording room for this video just now and I was having a little practice with the objects. All I can say is I can't wait to actually get this video done. They sound so, so good!

@@HellaLoud I do remember a lot of things, some say it's a curse but I see it as a blessing ❤🥰 Yes, the close-slow-tapping in this video gets right into the cranium. My next video in this style will have "some" tapping but also lots of other triggers too. I might split the video into sections, "tapping", "crinkling" etc.
Well, it's a combination of mic choice, room choice and gain setting. It can be done 🥰❤️ Even if you don't have that luxury you can record silence for 1min or so and use software to eliminate it, so I don't know why it's so bad on some of the other ASMR videos out there ❤️

Hi there Troop, was just wondering if you’d ever try a video with talking? I of course love the no-talking but I believe it’d be an interesting thing to try. It wouldn’t have to be for the full length of the video, perhaps just for the first quarter / half , as I can imagine it would be very tiring to do it for the full length of a potentially eight hour video 😅

Over the years I've seen what breakups do to people though. It's not easy and it cuts deep to the soul but please take some comfort in the fact that I've also seen these same people move on with their lives. These things really do make you stronger and you will move onto a better and more meaningful relationship. The hurt and confusion are just a necessary part of learning and moving on. Be strong ❤️

Today I learned that such a thing as snail repellent tape exists. So then I had to find out how it works, how well it works; basically I went down a rabbit hole of snail repellent tape information. Thanks for that. And also thanks for the red umbrella sounds. I love the umbrella sounds.
Ahh, yeah I'd never heard of it either. My wife has taken up gardening and we live on a farm so there are loads of snails and they were invading her new greenhouse. I did some research and it was a toss-up between this copper tape and coffee beans. There's another rabbit hole for you, the wee snails don't like coffee much for reasons unknown 🥰❤️
Another little rabbit hole would be the red umbrella. It's part of a Sciuridae garden set so it's a tiny squirrel bench than mounts to the fence and the umbrella is his pergola. You put nuts on the bench and he comes and sits there for breaky 😊❤️

It's full of shelled almonds, hazelnuts and his favourite, pecans. We've called him Cyril the Squirrel and I put a brass plaque on his front door, "Cyrils House" ❤️🥰

I'm the same, tapping was never my fav but when I started to try it I started to quite like it. It's not an easy sound to get right. The distance from the mic needs to be on-point or you miss the bass sounds which is what I like most about tapping. Anyway, I'm rambling again. I'm just glad you were pleasantly surprised ❤️🥰

@@ASMRtroops I think I missed a few while I went to lunch, but it didn't seem too fast. My two favourites were the single Monin bottle sound (see my edit above) and, in particular, the final trigger on the phones, which was absolute chef-kiss-tapping-heaven. Wonderful job 💜
Yeah, that Monin bottle. I could have spent more time with that as it was starting to make some really cool sounds. The helicopter is a good one, it actually does!

theres something unique about the audio that you dont see frankly in any other asmrtist. Who knew manual editing goes such a long way into making the sounds THAT much better!
ASMR should always be RAW and unprocessed. It's not at all like standard audio recording or standard audio editing where it wouldn't matter if some of the frequencies get lost. With ASMR though, we're trying to capture the most subtle nuances from the sounds and processing just takes them away. There's more to it than just 'not processing your audio' but it's definitely a huge factor and I'm just happy that you can hear the difference 🥰❤

by tapping on different materials or parts of the object
That is exactly right! As a result, you can easily make a full video with one object if you're tapping on different parts, at different tempos, at different distances and angles to the mic 🥰❤

What you're hearing is indeed RAW, straight off the mic, unprocessed audio. The only way ASMR should be if you ask me. Too many others process their audio as it's way, way easier 🥰

So, after my next upload (next will be a hand sounds only video), I'll be recording a new video in the same sort of format as this, your fav. one. However, this one will be a little different and I would hasten to say better in fact
How could it be better you wonder? Well, it's because these last few weeks I have broken away from this format into an experimental phase with my ASMR, temporarily abandoning this style. What should make this better is the fact that during this time away, I've been carefully gathering trigger objects, preparing for it by selecting things that sound really nice. I am setting up my recording room for this video just now and I was having a little practice with the objects. All I can say is I can't wait to actually get this video done. They sound so, so good!

@@HellaLoud I do remember a lot of things, some say it's a curse but I see it as a blessing ❤🥰 Yes, the close-slow-tapping in this video gets right into the cranium. My next video in this style will have "some" tapping but also lots of other triggers too. I might split the video into sections, "tapping", "crinkling" etc.

Well, it's a combination of mic choice, room choice and gain setting. It can be done 🥰❤️ Even if you don't have that luxury you can record silence for 1min or so and use software to eliminate it, so I don't know why it's so bad on some of the other ASMR videos out there ❤️
