Macro Shots Even at ISO 6400 Look Good! | OM Systems 90mm Macro

Howdy macro shooters - just a quick share of some tips on shooting insect macro in the late afternoon without a flash - used the OM Systems 90mm Macro Lens but this applies to any equipment!

What do you all think of shooting like this without a flash and maybe riding up the ISO? Don't get me wrong, I enjoy shooting with flash also as seen in most of my videos - but no flash can be really liberating and a different type of challenge! Pics at the end of the video.

I did that on my last 3 flickr photos. No flash and they came out decent. It certainly is more fun without walking around with a big tube lol. Even stacked without flash. Great video

yeah! I did some stacks no flash after a ton of rain the other day - Ill put some up on Flickr they actually turned out better than the few in this video! I will check your out also in a bit on flickr!

Haha me too, still trying to dial it in! Especially with all of the noise reduction technology making its way into almost every piece of editing software and cameras just getting so good now at higher ISO, its becoming more and more of a reality!

Thanks, its fun to try macro without a flash and just be less weight down with equipment - definately can be harder though depending on the conditions!
