I had a weird detailed dream about B3313 last night, or rather - Bikdip playing B3313. Unfortunately this video is already a few weeks old and nobody will get to read this stupid story, but here goes anyway. He was playing it on video or stream, and he missed exactly one star and didn't know where to find it. (a new star, not one of the many duplicates) Then he died somewhere and appeared in a room with similar graphics as the Princess' Slide, and he realised: "THIS is where the star is!!!" It was an easy red coin mission, and after he collected the last star, he knew he had to check out the castle's roof and talk to Yoshi. So then, Yoshi said something like, "well done for coming this far, here is a gift from me", and he gave Mario the power of infinite flight...and then Yoshi fucking combusted spontaneously, inflated, went bug-eyed, and eventually exploded. It was ridiculously graphic for Mario 64 standards. And if that wasn't enough, once Yoshi was dead, the happy All-Stars version of the Super Mario Bros 1 main theme played. Afterwards, one of the castle's towers rose up, revealing a door...and a massive Vodafone logo above the door that you were supposed to fly through. He tried that, but then Mario got stuck in an infinite corridor somehow. Unfortunately that's where it ends because I woke up.
This video made me a little emotional, I was there from the very beginning, I don't even remember how long ago it was. The time I kept trying to get you to play this game lol, the discussions we had on your server. It was a great journey, and at the end I can't believe there was cool stuff we hadn't seen yet. I never get tired of these videos. They've all been a joy to watch. Thank you for all the entertaining videos in this series. May we meet again in h
One last B3313 video for Halloween, thanks for wrapping up everything else you found in the game! It was certainly a fun and interesting journey going through a rom hack that nothing else could really compare too. Maybe someone will be inspired by this and make an actual game where as you progress, the game changes depending on certain events or things that you do. I think people would really like a game like that.
thanks so much for all the b3313 vids you've put up over the year, feels like a nice treat to have a wrap up one like this. Not sure if this has been researched enough yet, but do you know if the "Act1" state makes anything from the normal game state inaccessible? Or is "Act1" literally just a better state with more stuff accessible in it and no downsides?
When booting up the game, I would often grab a snack or make tea and must have entered on the act 1 thing by accident. I remember specifically that I've seen the water level with the ghost ship but didn't have all caps unlocked yet so I knew that I had to return one day. So once everything was unlocked, I searched every single Jolly Roger Bay clone there was but could never find the one with the ghost ship again. Well.... now I know that it wasn't just me being forgetful. Similar thing with the grey castle grounds. I defeated the final bowser and got there, even with the star road thing at the end but could never find it again. Now I see that it's some off-the-road entrance and tied to rng. Oh well...
Oh my god i cant believe i just found your channel again. I watched like all your vids literally 13 years ago. I was 7 and probably didnt even know how to subscribe. jesus
Awesome, with all the stuff going on I wasn't really interested in looking more stuff up of the game, but I trust your content on it a lot so I'm hoping for some exciting surprises in here and anything I missed when i was more interested in it
IDK if it's truly unknown or if it's just obscure, but my boyfriend discovered a version of LLL that looks very unique. screenshots are on discord somewhere. immedately behind you when you spawn in there's a huge doorway with a wall that extends all the way to the left and right of the map.
That sounds like Blargg's Lava Realm. You can enter that from Beta Lobby C (the one where the doors are labeled 3313 and the leftmost one leads to a second lobby).
you say "one more thing" but you actually show multiple things. smh my head. Honestly though, this stuff is all pretty cool. I've enjoyed watching your playthrough of b3313.
For Bikdip's case, he already said he still has the files but has no intention of releasing (aka leaking) them to the internet. It isn't likely that the files will disappear completely if they've been backed up privately in some way, but it is unlikely anyone who has them currently will leak them anytime soon. And I respect that decision from anyone, even if I am curious about the contents that may have been changed or removed before the Abandoned build released.
@@andreasjoannai6441 roman already has a folder with every single dev build ever to have been conceived. I have a couple as well but I keep deleting them since they're of not much use to me and just take up space

I'm sure that the old castle from the 0.7 version was just a remnant that they forgot to delete from the 0.9 version I'm pretty sure it's just the remnant of the 0.7 version
I have a question (if you manage to see this) would you recommend the 0.9 abandoned version or the 1.0 unabandoned version? I don't know if you've actually played it or if it's on your channel but from what I've heard in the 1.0 its possible to collect all of the red stars however it wasn't worked on by the main developer so it's uncertain how much/how little has been changed.

In act 1, vanish cap within the plexus (0.7 vanish cap level) has more chance of leading you to that level (10% - 20%) (in act 0, it has a 5% - 10%)

I haven't played unabandoned and don't plan to.
I unlocked some kind of hard mode by collecting a green star
I'm 99% sure the green star doesn't do anything special. There is difficulty scaling based on other factors, though.
