Thanks sir but in this video I noticed the difference names with the same meaning according to our syllabus.example what is the difference between true altitude and visible horizon
For a sight, we are at a height ( bridge ) but we want actual true altitude from the sea level and not the height, so we make necessary corrections like DIP to transfer angle from bridge to sea level, thus if u are at sea level, u don't need to apply dip correction, true altitude and rational horizon no changes ....do watch my video on sextant altitude correction, you will get more clear idea !
