I think you should actually test the Pacsafe bags, with a knife on slashing/cuts and pen for zip puncture. If not, you're just taking the brand's word for it.
I will just say this, another backpack from this brand make me a believer of their product. The zipper protection does work but it isn't smooth opening, and makes it very hard for people to pull it without you realizing. We went to a F1 race in Asia and it did protect my thing from stolen. While waiting in line, I can feel the person trying to try to get the zipper to open, they didn't end up doing it and walked away. Not sure about this one, but you can actually put a lock on the other zipper so added protection. Now I also got a smaller pacsafe bag slashed, I will say, the metal mesh does work, but your bag is still destroyed the fabric is ripped, but any item that is larger than two fingers width, won't be accessible to the thief, by that time you would be alerted to their presence. Also won't stop a LARGE sharp knife, but at that point I don't think what is in the bag is your concern, overall good for pickpocket and bag slasher on crowded places, not going to help if someone really wants what is in your bag.
That would still slash the outside fabric. The fabric is slash proof because there is a wire metal mesh inside. You can still damage it but not slash it open
Hi Viktor, as Eric said, those are detterent for grab and go. The zippers don't seem too robust, and the fabric is not slashproof either so it will be teared but there is some kind of steel net that should provide some protection but yeah the bag will be damaged for sure. You can find some youtubeb videos where people put it to the test
Great review! I’ve been wanting a Pacsafe bag but not sure which one to pick. I’m leaning on this one. Would you recommend this as an everyday backpack? And what is its rated liter capacity?
@@PackHacker2 Hi Eric, it s the Antitheft Sling bag Venture Safe X that was reviewed here, I like it very much and always take it with me when I travel abroad. I have another backpack Pacsafe Venturesafe X24 bag but I have only used it oncebor twice and does not find it both roomy or comfortable(there s no airflow and my back gets sweaty rapidly). I liked the design luckily it was heavily discounted
@@JoeGillian0 I've really grown to love my Venture Safe X! It's just the right size for a couple of travel use-cases. On my last trip, I convinced one of my travel buddies to go looking for one too.
@@cajun3k I know :-) it''s relatively small but can even fit my 12.4 " tablet, i like the outside pocket too.. and it s the only small bag that i feel confident bringing when i am in overcrowded places
The guy presenting makes me not want to finish watching the video from 0:36, buy any Pacsafe products, and it’s telling me to hold off on buying for a few or more years to see what else people come up with.

After all, these precautions are a deterrent. If someone wants to get in your pack, they will get in. Thanks for the suggestion!

Great review. I was tempted to buy it but now glad I didn’t.
Good day Sir. Please advise, what is the Largest Capacity Pacsafe Backpack, that Fit Under The Seat In Front of me on the airplane?
Surprised he didn't mention a padlock could be added to zip lock.
Not for me thanks, but I'm interested to know what type of sunglasses those are. Thanks.

I think for a work commute bag I’d put flatter things in it anyway.
Hey guys. Great video, question if I may. Could I fit a 12.9” iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard into the rear quick access pocket ? TIA 😊
Did you ever try the 13-inch Pacsafe Metrosafe Anti-Theft Commuter Backpack For Ladies, Teens or who like it smaller...
Is tjis same material and color as the Peak Design and X Pac collaboration of the PD 30L travel backpack?
Do the 13 inch version can fit a 14 MacBook Pro?
Could you Review the Horizn Studios Sofo Backpack Travel and the Property of Bags?
I haven't found any good Reviews of those two bags.
Thanks for the suggestion, Jan! I’ll pass it along.

I have a 17-inch LG gram. Can it fit in this backpack?
I wish you could hide the straps so they wouldn't dangle when you used it as a briefcase.
That’s a good call! Thanks for the comment.

what is the keyboard sleeve you are using?
Nice i like some of the pacsafe bags :-)
Which one is your favorite so far? 🧐

You should test them for safty! Try a knife on them :D

Hmmm the bag is interesting but I would pass. I think it can't handle much

Sleek design but ugly colour!
