Definitely need a transmission mount and a new clutch
Either a trans mount or diff bushings. Nissan only used a single rear bolt to mount the diff in the subframe using a very brittle hydraulic fluid filled bushing. Get underneath and g or z and you can see the dried up hydraulic fluid of a blown bushing 100% of the time

Damn. I use have a built motor stillen supercharged g35 & sold it for 8500$ with 104k miles. Had after market head lights, stillen body kit, full exhaust, lowered 2 inches, welded diff, in mint condition. He won’t get 5k for it. Well maybe in Cali. But if that were posted in the south that man would be trolled all day long

I got my 6speed 03 g35 coupe for 1900! Had to replace rear dif cover cause the bolt that goes into the subframe was sheared off. Ended up having to buy the whole dif for 300 and was on the road! Car came with a bunch of mods also. Got mine in Florida! Also you're suppose to use 91 octane not 85 🤦
Any real stick driver knows the clutch will hold u in place for a couple seconds on a hill for time to reach the gas pedal

@@Sloppyjoe7390 you don’t need to ride the clutch to do it 🤦🏻♂️ if your on the break on a hill without the clutch you can simply press the clutch in and put it in gear then slowly let go of the clutch n let go of the break and it holds the car without moving for about 2 seconds untill it starts to roll back please learn how to drive before you speak

I got a 6mt 04 g35 for 4k, it has the Brembo brakes, the seats look almost brand new, it has the original sport package coils. The only problem is that the owner rewired alpine amps and somewhere in the wiring from the battery to the amps themselves there is a bad wire.
also it has low mileage of 214,000 :)

@@Hunterslides That's weird. You sure they were Racelands? The only G35 coilovers Raceland sells are the Ultimos (Green/Grey), Primos (Blue/White), and Classics (Red). They may be an older Raceland set that's discontinued, but Raceland doesn't sell anything orange strut-related for a G35 currently.

G35 is way better to have imo. The BMW is full of issues. 177k is alot for these cars. They can do 200k and after that you need to really make sure you check every single thing on it. Ive seen G35 with 300k miles and they replaces the tranny by that time. So you will have to drop some money in it pretty soon if not already to keep it in shape. Its a great car to have some fun in tho. Hope he enjoys it.
