Fantastic tips and very practical advice! On the same token as medications and taking an extra week's worth, make sure to schedule any necessary appointments to get your refills before your cruise! That way you have all you need.
Also, schedule your pet care, have someone stop by to water your plants, etc.

Best advice ever! We just had our first Carnival Liberty and I’m so grateful to y’all because you truly made our vacation smoother. One thing I’ll add is to buy the round trip transportation if you are flying in, if you have any questions, first call you if unavailable, call the cruise.

GIRLLLLLL I had to call Carnival four days before my trip because we got married eight months before our cruise and I didn't have my new name changed everywhere. This video was priceless. Thanks so much.
This was so good and had tips other RUclips channels didn't have.
I'm about 75 days out and I totally forgot about name changes!! I checked my passport still had 2+ years beyond my travel date, but forgot I got my passport right before I got married 7 years ago. I'm expediting an update now just so there aren't any issues.
Hey Lynette and Stanley! Thanks so much for all of the informational videos. The one rule about medicine is so true. That a happened to me coming back from my last cruise. The FAA closed all of the airports in the DMV (Dulles, National and BWI,) they were updating their system. Terrible time to do that. No flights coming or going. We were stuck in Ft Lauderdale overnight. I'd only packed enough meds to get me through the cruise. Luckily, I was able to call a CVS down there and get enough to hold me over until I got home. That was definitely a lesson learned.

That sucks! We had an absolutely horrible DMV/FLL experience our last cruise. We literally ended up going to all 3 airports in our desperate attempt to get on flight (we were cancelled like 5 times) - finally managed to get on a southwest out of BWI the next day and barely made it on the ship! Not fun and definitely keep medication and anything you really need in carry on - learned the hard way. Not fun!
@@katcalico9142 wow, your experience sounds like it was definitely nerve racking. Glad you guys made it to the ship. Believe me, from that experience forward, I always pack 2-3 weeks worth of meds. Rather bring too much than not enough.

FOR CARIBBEAN TRAVELERS: I found out on my March vacation that Belize (a prev UK territory) is not considered part of Mexico as far as T-mobile is concerned. Free roaming Canada + Mexico is on my plan but in one day I racked up $20 in text charges sending pictures to my husband's while in poet. My geography skills failed me that day.

I still do the same - call my cards and let them know where I'm going to be and when - this also helps for if they see unusual charges from that place AFTER you've left...credit cards be on it!

YES! Print out your info!! One time I had us booked to fly out on the wrong day! I caught it about a month in advance and the timing was perfect because I changed the flight and had money credited back to our airline account. Phew!!

I started doing laundry before vacation and it's been a big help so I'm only washing vacation clothes (because I refuse to do laundry on vacay.) Also I make sure I've got something in the freezer to make for dinner the day we return.

4:59 if you are already on the ship and have the Wi-Fi package on the phone you may be able to select “try another way” and have them call you if you have Wi-Fi calling turned on. That would be a possible way to get the code.

I enjoy your videos. Husband and I have cruised several times, on Carnival, Royal and also specialty cruises. We are taking one more cruise in August as a couple because he has terminal cancer. 😥 I am assuming that his prescriptions for his narcotics (fentanyl and dilaudid) won't be an issue as long as we have the proper documentation. My advice for anyone in a similar position is to document everything and take a lock box that will fit in the safe of the cabin!

Question about drink packages. Our sailing is Mother's Day. My mom almost 90, myself and my daughter. I was going to get the package but for all three of us don't think its necessary because Mom doesn't drink that much...my daughter and I are moderate drinkers. Do you get the drink package? Is it worth it?

Becoming a Travel Agent comes with the same requirement it takes to become and more importantly REMAIN a successful Travel Agent… RESEARCH! Hey, thanks for the tips. Can you be a little more specific on checking the groups on Facebook that do games or other fun things on the ship. What should I search for? Also, we did not buy travel insurance, but paid with Carnival Cruise Master card by Barclay. Isnt travel insurance is included? We are cruising the second week in June.

Anyway, is there a benefit to moving them to a travel agent? Will I get onboard credits or perks? Also I would like to learn how to become a cruise travel agent like you. It’s not much of what you can get monetarily or in onboard credit but having an advocate for you when things need to be handled plus having someone keep you abreast on the latest and greatest
