I can't explain why but these videos fascinate me. You two are amazing hard workers. If you finish your goals this will be a gorgeous home. I'm pulling for you.
After taking down barn, you didn't leave the brick sitting there, but dealt with it by removing the bricks right away. This shows organizational skills, and a clear mind. I was impressed back then, as I am today, after I reviewed this video once again. You two are simply amazing 👏 ❤ 😍 💖
It was really fun watching the walls go back up when you showed them in reverse! I also liked seeing the truck come to pick up the container. Great video. Thanks for sharing!
I will never be able to explain why I love watching your videos but I really do!! You guys work so hard and I know your home will be beautiful! I am so happy for you guys!! Love your videos and love the cat!!
I have to watch at least twice. The cat action is not to be missed. She is hilarious.... truly loves being a country/construction cat. I love watching her run around the site.
No talks. Just work. Timelapse. Good combination for a great video. Satisfying indeed. Thank you, De Hoeve. Wish you all the best with your channel. Looking forward to your next video. Blessings.
Hello hello, just started watching your channel, with before and after. Decided to start at beginning. It is so awesome to see how you reclaim all the reusable material. I will be keeping a close eye on your progress.
Just look at the space that you have opened up! It will be so much nicer looking from your house to that open area. Great job handling that demolition, that was a lot of labor.
New subscriber My goodness you two have Super power's 🦸♂️🦸♀️and so hard working 💪💪it's wonderful To see how much pride you're driving back in this home 🏡 It's beautiful really to see this.. Thank you both for sharing your Journey 💐💝
You are an amazing team. You get it done. Really impressive hard work and endurance. Thank you very much for recording this for us all..... Well done!!
O my gosh very hard work you guys but it looks beautiful. So much space. I wish I could fly down there to help you. You are always on my mind. Stay strong and safe, Blessings to you.👏🏻🤗🌹
Good day to you wonderful hard working people. My first comment was in my language afrikaans it a lot like flaams what you speak in Belgium. Keep up the wonderful work you are doing ❤️😽❤️😽
It is an amazing amount of work you have set for yourselves! You have my admiration for undertaking such a huge task. I wish you all the best in your efforts. You will have really accomplished something great when you are done. Is there a link to your plans? I’ve been watching but have missed some of your videos.
What a shame that the pig barn was the one in the way. It looked to be the sturdiest, with both concrete block and brick, compared to the old wooden buildings. Our 70 year old concrete pig barn has survived flooding and hurricanes, while the more aesthetic wooden barns now require constant maintenance. Many people have no idea how much work it takes to keep a farm going. I wish these young people good health and many more years to enjoy their place.
I love your discussion to save some bricks. By doing this your save cost. And old bricks are more better then the new ones, as they already restand the rain and shine of many years. Good choice.😉😊
My first thougt: Merde, they'll throw away those wonderful old bricks? Made my day by recycling them, despite the significant added work. Thank you :D I've been in a kind of similar situation.A small garden almost a third of which was covered with tons of concrete (in the end 20 m³ mineral waste). But under that concrete was at most places a thick layer of rubble. After WW2 the bombing rubble from our city hall and local brewery had been dumped there. Everyone called me crazy when I didn't got rid of that rubble as well, but instead invested quite a bit of time salvaging them. Well, Weser Sandstein (sandstone) doesn't come cheap, especially factoring in transport. ;) So thank you for doing the ecological, economical and cultural sensible thing. :D
I love the look he gives the camera at 9:09... like "uh, huh... look at this strong herculean husband you snagged up" You know he's got a big ol' grin under that mask.
That was backbreaking work. Hopefully you can keep/restore some of the white outbuildings and turn them into a potting shed and workshop. It would be nice to remove the concrete slab, once the house is done, build a back patio, from the saved red brick, and turn the rest into a lush flower and vegetable garden. The courtyard is so big, you could put a circle in the middle ( with a fountain) and create four rectangles around it. The walkway could lead to a potting shed etc. You could use gravel or grass for the walkways. Maybe you can also plant an Orchard on the right side of the property with access from your courtyard. Each walkway from the center circle could lead to a specific place. You create symmetry and focal points, making sure there is an interesting vista in all directions.
Nobody cleans like a man driven and a woman possessed! Great teamwork and adding the muscle of the wife sure made the wall come tumbling down---it knew who was giving it the coup de grace. Thanks for taking the time to bring us along----and I saw the guard cat looking for escaping mice, lol.
You must have more light now have impression of space. Now that all this rubbish is down it will be easier to go ahead. Bon courage pour la suite. You really are hard workers🇫🇷👍👍👍
Привет. Что планируете делать с коровником? Слышал что собираетесь строить большую телицу. Если перекрыть коровником прозрачным материалом будет готовая теплица👍
It must have been a big deal for the farmer who built the pig barn, but sure looks better out of there. As ever menou inspecting to make sure all is going okay.
What are you going to do with that space? I’ve been meaning to ask you that. Personally, I see a beautiful space for container gardening with flowers and small shrubs...maybe some vegetables or dwarf fruit trees there.
Did you throw away the wooden beams of the roof? That is a pity. Could be usefull for repairing the first floor of the pig barn. Or you could sell it since prices of building materialen has gone through the roof.
May I say that more of those surrounding buildings need to go... They appear so difficult to upgrade and they almost seem dangerous to stand below them. And what to do with so many destroyed service buildings?
I can't explain why but these videos fascinate me. You two are amazing hard workers. If you finish your goals this will be a gorgeous home. I'm pulling for you.

Seriously, I can't believe how hard you work. 💪🏆💪
I am glad you rewound and replayed the walls falling. It's cool.
I will never be able to explain why I love watching your videos but I really do!! You guys work so hard and I know your home will be beautiful! I am so happy for you guys!! Love your videos and love the cat!!

I love seeing the children involved when they can. 😍
Amazing job! Such an improvement. And the air flow against your house and through your house windows will be so much better.
I truly admire your strong work ethic👍👍👍
At 12:59, "Team work makes the dream work!" You two must have felt like superheroes!
I love this as well. We can really appreciate the work and accomplishments! Real job!
Good that you brought in the excavator. NEVER do with blood pressure what you can do with oil pressure
A nice saying :-) I have to remember it. Also money pressure comes in play sometimes 😊
@@DeHoeveNoTalkJustWork , too true....
I made a point of using my muscle when the job is not too big and I'm not pressed for time. That helps my blood pressure.
Just look at the space that you have opened up! It will be so much nicer looking from your house to that open area. Great job handling that demolition, that was a lot of labor.

Love the reverse shots! You make a great team!
Peggy I was just going to say they are the two hardest working people I have ever watched
Ahh , then I saw you saved them.
People pay good for old brick.
They looked in really good shape.
Nice to see the CatSpector is on the job. 😊
An amazing transformation ❣️👩⚖️🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I would have saved all tho full sized blocks.
Never know when you need some.
Maybe the brick work too.
You guys are doing a great job!
Stunning sky. Great to watch this and I liked the music. X

I think this is going to be awesome to watch the progress with peaceful music
You could make some very nice informal stacked garden walls with those white cement breeze blocks.
Nice work!

I love how the kitty cat follows you around like a little puppy.
Wow! Illia....Demolition Man! 👍💣💥
One man earthquake in action....
You have a nice view of the countryside now!
Your children are learning life lessons. Work habits, skills, determination, perseverance and more, En France Bon Chance!,

Looks so much better
great job !!
Great job, well done!
Enjoyed the show
I can’t believe they had a pig barn that close to the house.
Same thoughts. Yucky...
Very hard work done.
When we remodeled our home, when we rested we always had chairs also. Think, plan, and have a cold drink.
I love your discussion to save some bricks. By doing this your save cost. And old bricks are more better then the new ones, as they already restand the rain and shine of many years. Good choice.😉😊
more videos please the work is very interesting to work.
Everyone should own a little backhoe like that.
The bobcat was really handy.... got a lot done ...
we are thinking of buying a small one... but it is a rather costly investment right now :-(
Just found your channel. You guys are doing great work. I was really happy that xxv decided to save as many bricks as you could.
That makes such a big difference 😀
Amazing the amount of reclamation you achieved. That could be another 1800 SqFt home, or a lot of additions on the farmhouse.😀
Great video loved it very much I’ve got a little black cat like yours I was always there watching what’s going on love the video great
good job. I missed this back in Jan!
Love these concept... Visually satisfying...new sub here...
Thanks and welcome, Letecia
I love how your cat comes to help. 😂
I see the cat is still supervising 🐈⬛
This is like you 2 tearing down 2 buildings at the same time. 1 is a block wall 2 is a brick wall 🧱👍
Your such hard workers well done

The wind can wreck havoc with you carrying things, like doors.
Excellent!🐱
You must be very proud of yourself and your family.
And the little streaks of black as kitty stops by to inspect 😃😊
I love the look he gives the camera at 9:09... like "uh, huh... look at this strong herculean husband you snagged up" You know he's got a big ol' grin under that mask.
WOW I'm impressed. Can't wait the 2nd video :-)
Excellent job, hard work, VERY satisfying; now buy yourself a second wheelbarrow 🤔👍
That was backbreaking work.

awesomeness....great vidio

I haven’t noticed in your other videos but… the patterns on the house look like it was laid to look like lattice work 😱
As well as on the other smaller building on the other side. That beautiful 😍
Привет. Что планируете делать с коровником? Слышал что собираетесь строить большую телицу. Если перекрыть коровником прозрачным материалом будет готовая теплица👍
Is that an asbestos roof? Here in the uk only a specialist removal team can take it down.
GODS Speed!
The black cat LOL
What is the round flat stone in the immediate center lower foreground? It looks like you will have a very nice level platform or will it go away too?
And he huffed and he puffed and he bleeeeew the house down!
The roofing - is that Eternit?
you could really benefit from the use od a skid steer -- would there be a possible rental place for that?
Be careful with the asbestos guys
So how did you dispose of the asbestos cement rood tiles?
Is the slab of concrete going out at a later stage, or do you have plans for that?
It must have been a big deal for the farmer who built the pig barn, but sure looks better out of there. As ever menou inspecting to make sure all is going okay.
Having an animal barn or 3 right next to your house! Bleeeeh!
What are you going to do with that space? I’ve been meaning to ask you that. Personally, I see a beautiful space for container gardening with flowers and small shrubs...maybe some vegetables or dwarf fruit trees there.
Could have done something great with the building; examples visitor summer house, garage, storage, reading & crafts space, functioning farm, etc.
I have a feeling when you actually move in permanently so is the cat.
Corrugated asbestos cement roofing panels were always a bad idea, some dumps will not accept it. Its very dangerous once it starts to decompose.
i heard that belgians often put pig farms near crematoriums...
How many bricks did you end up saving from the old structure?
Now I am even more confused having jut seen the mini arrive after the walls are down.
Why did you tear it down?
Will u rebuild it?
Curious about European costs - what did a bin of refuse this kind/size average in cost?
520 euro for 12 m3 of mixed construction waste. And what is the price in your country?
Hi, What is under the concrete that is left? It is unsightly, and you cannot do much with it. Could you remove it?
These guys can do anything!
You pushed brick walls down, time for a nap.
You should have rented a backhoe for a weekend to do this job.
Did you throw away the wooden beams of the roof? That is a pity. Could be usefull for repairing the first floor of the pig barn. Or you could sell it since prices of building materialen has gone through the roof.
Barney
I’m guessing with the Tyvek suits and regular watering, you’re concerned about asbestos?
I wondered the same thing.
May I say that more of those surrounding buildings need to go... They appear so difficult to upgrade and they almost seem dangerous to stand below them. And what to do with so many destroyed service buildings?
😱👌
