I have a small bathroom with a pedestal sink. I have a storage cabinet next to the sink with an acrylic organizer for my skin care and another for make up. Everything stays tidy and I'm less likely to purchase excess products with the lack of space. I will decant products as well or remove labels from ugly packaging.

The 80"s wristbands crack me up.😂 I use a washcloth when I wash my face so no dripping down arms plus a gentle daily exfoliation happens as well.😊
I never heard anyone talking about the water dripping down your clothes when you wash your face. Glad to know others have this issue too. I previously bought a headband with the cuffs like yours, but they are thick and hold water for quite a while. I’m going to try the narrower ones. I can always count on you for good ideas!

I've been using that type of wristband for a few years now, total game-changer! I usually just leave mine sit out on my counter overnight and they dry by the morning. But I've been doing most of these things for such a long time. Good real-world advice you offer in this video. Love it!!

I’m a big organizer! I love my mini fridge. I keep face creams, Vit.C and other serums. It’s great to have. Lol Penny, I was using the top of old socks that I cut off on my wrist to catch the water from running down my arms. I hated that. Lol. Just ordered 4 sets of wrist bands this am. I don’t know where to begin to thank you for this video. SO HELPFUL! Just now I started to measure places in mtmy bathroom where I could hang something to keep my cosmetics easy to reach without looking tacky. I have corralled my skincare but it’s in a visible place looking awful. My bathroom medicine cabinet is so full thing keep falling. My frustration ended with your video. I agree, organizing is key. I have tray dividers in a dedicated drawer in my bathroom. One row in the tray has morning skin care lined up on the left and along side on the right are the nighttime products. The rest of the trays divide my makeup; lips products, blushes, foundation, powders, eye palettes corralled in their own sections. i have a separate freestanding chest with backup skin care, nail polish, hair stuff, etc. I have wanted wrist bands but never bought them before. Doing it right now! Speaking of nail products, where do you get your nails done? They always look impeccable. Love the color of your polish.
Excellent video! You always have such great tips. I use 3 tier spinning acrylic organizer (adjustable shelves) for my skincare. It is a must for me because if I don't see it I won't use it. I like that stuff is spread out but still contained. I have a headband and wristbands at the ready. I'm going to try those disposable towels and get a scrunchy holder.

Thank you Penny! I got tired of the water all over my sink counter so I started using a cleansing balm (true botanicals) and then I wipe it all off with the clean towels- same ones you use love those!
I have given those wrist bands away to friends before and everybody loved them! They said that they now enjoy washing their faces! 😂 Getting my skincare organized made a huge difference and shortened the time I spent doing it. No more hunting for things! Several years ago you introduced your little carousel. That was a total game changer for me! Thank you for all your tips and tricks!❤
I still use that carousel! Now it’s in my office and it organizes fragrances, lip products and other things I really want to “see” so that I use. I would still use it for skincare but my chosen bathroom just isn’t big enough lol

Great ideas. I purchased a two tier basket that fits in my bathroom cabinet next to the sink pipe. Top one is for skincare and headbands, bottom is for hair products and face washes. I got it at the Container Store. My vanity has a drawer and that’s for all my makeup. I just purchased the wristbands. All great ideas.
Penny, you’ve offered a simple solution to my pet peeve regarding nightly skin care… water dripping down my arms irritates me beyond! Lol . I had attempted to squeeze in a shower just to avoid the wet sink and wet arms… but sometimes two showers a day is just not feasible (mind you after we grow our family, not sure how that time management will work)…
I just got those wristlet things they are super kool I just need to get those holders
I keep all my skincare which of course I have ti much of also, I got metal bathroom organizers that go under the counter and keep all am products together and all pm products together and makeup products in the drawers

I have my Retin A , my Vitamin C, Guasha and masks in my mini fridge on top of the sink, also I have a clear carrousel where I store the rest of my skin care in order of how I apply them., it’s a lot easier to be organized and helps not to forget step by step to follow! 😅

Well…..I have 2 shelving units in my laundry room and I organize by brand. I do have a lot more than a normal person would though- before RUclips I wouldn’t need so much space! Lol
OMG Penny! The wrist bands tip is GENIUS!!! I feel like I get water EVERYWHERE! It seems INSANE to me that it gets such a Crazy mess, but it does, especially when I am trying to get down my neck & the beginnings of my chest to wash. I would always have to have a roll of paper towels in the bathroom & beforehand rip MANY sheet off & fold them & put on the sides of my sink, getting ready for the GUSHER of water! LOL! I MUST try those wrist bands IMMEDIATELY! I will still probably need the paper towels, but I'm sure a LOT less!

Another video for me to recommend to folks (I see comments on other channels for folks who are wondering how some keep their products organized). I can remember if you tried the Living Proof dry shampoo? Besides folks who keep vit c in the frig, I've heard one derm suggest keeping azelaic acid cold to cut down on the stinging some folks experience. I've also seen a couple derms recommend the Clean Skin Club products.

I started using it a few months ago and it’s the only dry shampoo that has ever worked for me, and I have been recommending it to everyone who uses dry shampoo. Hi Penny!! Could you tell me if Dr Jart every day sunscreen is safe to use? I heard it's great for oily skin and is a mineral sunscreen, but I noticed it has orange and mandarin orange peel oil in it. I remember one of your other videos saying these are sensitizing. I can't find good mineral sunscreen for oily skin (I have Melasma too).

I just turn my wrist bands inside out after I use them and I have a wire shelf I sit them on overnight that seems to help them dry. Same in the morning.

I use adhesive shelving from 3M and have them on the cabinet doors to save space and they're removable and I have enough space for more than one on each door. I have AM skincare, PM skincare and then SPF. Type A all the way 😂

What works for me is to fold a hand towel length wise and place along front of sink. Then I bend over sink with my forearms on the towel to rinse my face. I use a headband to keep my hair back.
That’s actually exactly what I do when I don’t have wrist bands! In fact just a couple weeks ago I was thinking how if I just keep my elbows on that towel the water won’t get past them….lol

I just take a shower so I don’t get water everywhere. You should drill small holes in the holders. I’m always going to put on a cleansing oil and hop in the shower.
My husband scoffed heartily when my wristbands showed up. He’s soon a LOT (and put up with a lot!) when it comes to my skincare obsession over these last 20+ years, for better or worse, and I’ve heard lots of “What are you doing/did you do to your face??” But he also hears all the random comments from strangers about how good my skin is, so it shuts him up regularly 😆
You should see some of the looks I get from my husband when another package gets delivered 😂 He takes it in good stride though, but not without giving me a good laugh first!
I wash my clean cloths in a loungerie bag and air dry them.
I am shocked how little space you have on around your bathroom sink counter top. You did a great job with using the cabinet under the sink to maximize your space tho. One thing I find helpful to me is to have vertical organizers on the counter top tho (if you have the space). I find multi-tiered rotating organizers (with open top to store brushes etc) and vertical shelves is the most efficient way to store my daily skincare/makeups. I find Having easy visual without having to pull things in/out of drawers/cabinets is also great time saver!
Yes! I do have those things in my upstairs bathroom! This is my 1/2 bath that is downstairs and next to my office so I tend to use it the most 😊
Done! My problem is more knowing how to incorporate all of what I need. Do I use all my products at once to address all of the issues? Do I skip days and treat only this or that per day? 🤷♀️. Yep, I don’t know. 🤷♀️

I used to use those skin club towels but I found some that are larger and less expensive on Amazon. I bought a plastic cube with a lid to store them in because my bathroom is tiny and I have very little space under my sink so it sits on the back of my toilet and is easily accessible. I can’t corral my skin care like you do so it’s all lined up by usage in my cabinet above the toilet. I’m kinda OCD so all labels are facing outward so I can see what each thing is at a glance. 😅

I have been wanting to get those wristbands for a while. I can't tell you how many times that I have gone to bed with wet pajama shirt arms - and I ALWAYS pull my sleeves up to my elbows! I also put modern looking spice racks on my bathroom wall for my skincare. Works wonderfully!
