I have both the Soto windmaster and the MSR pocket rocket. I do take both, but mainly use the Soto as like you I find it boils quicker and has never let me down.
Are you sure? There is a really good video out there that blow’s the Wind Master out the water and makes the setup a whole lot lighter. I didn’t catch the weight of your setup, might be helpful. 👍

Does the lid sit flat with this setup? Or does stove sit above the lip of the pot?
