That bathroom had a ton of concrete removed from the tile bed, moisture and water rot caused the 2 and a half inch drop. Great job guys, you are doing a wonderful job.
Seeing how rotted those joists were, it's remarkable that more floors hadn't collapsed. The reclaimed wood is stronger than modern lumber that comes from trees on steroids, so it's worth salvaging. You've already accomplished so much! And you're doing it right. Seeing the videos of the previous owners, I got the feeling that the original Moreland builders did some things the easier, quicker way.
Thanks for the update on the house. Frank & Kerry were great at weekly updates but it’s obvious you’re a contractor who knows what he’s doing and not relying on RUclips videos how to fix things 😂. I can’t wait to see the finished product. The Mooreland house reminds me of the Pabst Mansion in Milwaukee (Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer) beautiful craftsmanship which I can see in your place.
This was such a great video. It is so nice to see so many things coming back together now and a really bad area totally restored. Your team is doing a fantastic job.
I’m over the moon, happily relieved that you’re doing this restoration. Your diligence and skillset will ensure she is brought back to her magnificent glory the proper way and this grand old girl deserves nothing less. Well done!!!
What a fantastic job you're doing Kyle. I am so impressed with the solid reconstruction you're doing. I always like seeing the noggins being used instead of the X bridging. I bet you can jump up and down on that bathroom floor and won't move a bit! Great job.
Thanks for the updates. I was wondering what you'd do with the sewage stack. I hope you and yours had a great Christmas as well as your crew. Thanks for the video!
Awesome to see! And thank you so much for explaining about the big pipe. It was so incongruous with everything else that it was bugging me. :) What a mind-boggling, more-than-merely-three-dimensional game of Jenga you are playing. I know it's slow, but you are winning!
Love this video! You and your team are doing amazing work. I’m interested to see how you will repair the sewer pipe. Everything is finally coming along. So much work to do but now I can’t start to imagine what the house will look like once all the repairs are completed.
I hope this don't sound to nutty I say it as a big compliment You and your team are like a very well commanded ant colony very precise and going right down to the bottom of each problem and making it strong and making sure all the work joins together to make a strong beautiful home Your work just amazes me
Your best video yet, it is nice to see the old girl getting better. I loved the voice overs and looks like a lot of progress has and is being made. Keep up the hard work and you will have a masterpiece when it's done. Can't wait for the next video and have a Happy New Year to you and yours and the crew. 😀✌❤
Thanks for including the construction details- to be able to follow and see the construction really makes an interesting drop. Happy New Year from New Zealand 🇳🇿
Fantastic progress, thank you for sharing. May I ask why you removed the protective covering from the gun cabinet? Was it in the way? I fear for it getting damaged with all the rotten wood falling around it!
Amazing work going on there…I do believe this home is going to have its happily ever after! Thank you!

now who ever does the plumbing has to be supervised because some plumbers do a lot of damage to floor joists
Thank you Mr. Kyle for giving me the opportunity to be part of your work team. Every day the castle is looking very good.
What a great job! Thank you for your explaining what is going on. It helps me since I'm not a builder. Thanks for the update video.
