I think you should add tutorials for Ace Combat players playing on War Thunder for the first time to play this mod and War Thunder players that will play this mod and don't have any ideas on what is Ace Combat
yeah, you see that gun AA? legitimaly threatening, but also avoidable and predictable. Its not based around RNG, and gets simply more dangerous as you get closer. Can we have that for base AA? you know, to stop the incecent strafing of the runways. I am a bomber pilot mostly, and if i don't die to the foaming mouth fighters, i do when trying to do my job and going for rearm. Then players wonder why heavy bombers, who have to pay an INSANE ammount if they go down, prefer to just climb to space to attempt to survive.

@@sethjansson5652 I cannot recall even a prop match where a fighter that strafed my PE-8 died to base AA, but at least about 30% of the time they took light damage in the process, and 15% more took heavy damage and ended up crashing. Mostly due to evasive actions on my part and damage from my return fire. But at least, it had SOME effect. However none of the planes that strafed me in my TU-4 and TU-14T died or took damage from the AA. More often than not, the fighter will be done strafing and already zooming away to 2km altitude by the time the AA starts to fire. As you can guess, in combinaison with the repair costs of the TU-4, it makes my PE-8 matches VASTLY more enjoyable. TU-14T is also fun but gets uptiered to 9.0 constantly against jets with missiles and afterburners which you cannot really shake off. TU-4's repair cost just makes it flat out unplayable outside of SIM (where for some ungodly reason its repair cost is acceptable and its tier is as it should) plus in realistic you have to face the 9.0 missile spam which you cannot deal with. Obviously the largest problem in the game by far is BR compression, but economy and the gamemode age is a massive one as well. For all the additions and new mechanics, gameplay loops for the game have remained the same, which leads to tons of vehicles just being unusable. IFVs, rocket artillery, self propelled guns and reconaissance vehicles are matched against honest to god tanks, tank destroyers and top of the line fighters with none of the ability to deal with them. Self propelled guns, with large, low velocity shells ususaly with super low penetration and high explosive values (and minute long reloads) and little armor get matched against pretzel boxes and long 88s and be expected to actually perform the same. Where are the targets these vehicles are suposed to deal with? When will IFVs actually be able to carry infantry? When will bunker busters like the KV-2 be able to actually smash bunkers? well never, because infantry, anti tank guns and bunkers aren't players. That would imply that you would be able to perform well in a match without making 3 other people perform poorly. That would make earnings more streamlined, and reduce frustration. And the snail does not want that because their entire buisness model is based off frustration. I have stoped playing, appart from playing silly custom games with friends (showcasing how fun the game would be if everything else wasn't such a slog) but i don't feel too enclined to grind Russian fighters of finish grinding the ground tech tree (or god forbid grind a naval tree) simply because it feels like a second job. I already have a job, a well paying one of that, and i dont want to work to then spend my work money to enjoy a game. I'd rather spend my money on devs that care. Warframe does a far better job at a free to play monetization done right, and they actually give a shit about their twenty million registered losers.
Okay, can we just take a moment to appreciate just *how good the voice acting is*? I know that AC's radio filter can make *anything* sound good, but the voice actors genuinely did great, Grau 1's VA being a massive highlight.
Yeah, Grau 1 is a guy called Lieutenant Colonel Dietrich Kellerman, and his last VA was _Jamison Price_, so that was a tough act to follow if there ever was one. The guy in the mod nails it.

@@IntrusiveThot420 Anyone can grind one nation quickly. It just means a lot of time, every day, and only reserching what's absolutely necessary. But I'd say it's unlikely you'll reach top tier that quickly.
AJ McNamara I have a lot of experience in World of Tanks, so I think I could be extremely disciplined with grinding. It would definitely be slower on the "grind every day" aspect, because school and work, but otherwise I think I could stick with it.
