The photo of Sam and Nate when young, and the photo next to it- truly shows how greatness did come from small beginnings. This message, the music, the throwback to previous uncharted games, things have come full circle, and I'm glad Nate got his happy ending. Not since Blood and Wine has an ending managed to give me the feels. Truly a masterpiece!
I feel like they really went all out for uncharted 4. The animation, effects, the cinematics, the story it was all amazing. It was so much much better than the first three games (they were amazing for their time). I wish we could have had 3 more games with this level of development. They could've kept them as flashbacks to Nathan telling his daughter what happened.

He found Captains Averys treasure, he discovered that the gold of El Dorado was a curse and sent it to the depths of the ocean, he found Shambahla and discovered how some of the most fearsome rulers became rulers and stopped a War Criminal from becoming a monster, he found Iram of the Pillars/Lost City of Ubar/Atlantis of the Sand to discover genies existed and the water in the place was cursed and destroyed the city and followed his ancestors footsteps with his brother when he was a boy. One man did all this and he deserved the greatest ending a thief and treasure hunter could have an end to all journeys and a family.
Man, what I've give to replay this game again as if it were my first time. Hearing the music at the end almost brings me to tears, joyful tears that is, not depressing or anything like that. Just makes me remember what an amazing game this is and the time of my life playing it for the first time. The memories...
Best franchise ever so emotional, as the years passed seeing drake in each game till the end wow, emotionally deep but happy ending wow breath taken away
I just went back to replay all the uncharted games again from 4-1, and starting with 4 I already got crazy goosebumps at the ending, what a masterpiece of a game and story. It’s unbelievable how amazing these games are
Anyone remember when Nate said he was gonna get a dog and name it Victor? He got the dog, it's a girl but it's name is Vicky, i think that's cool how Naughty Dog has attention to detail like that
Yeah, or a spin-off where we learn about the life of Sully Young knowing that he knew Marlow, Pablo Escobar, Alcatraz. They could also make a sequel like Uncharted 1 Drake's Fortune named Uncharted 5 D&F's Fortune where Drake and Elena go on an adventure
This ending is perfect. It wrapped up the series so nicely with them settling down in two houses on the beach, with all the treasure they found over the years. Cassie is a perfect combination of Nate and Elena's character, she has all the chrisma and curiosity of the two. I feel they set up great potential for a spin-off with Cassie. It also shows how far Naughty Dog has came over the years, from Crash, all the way to The Last of Us. With the gameplay of Crash in the beginning, the time capsule of things from previous Uncharted games, and playing as Cassie looking for her parents reminds me of the beginning of The Last of Us; it's all here (except for poor Jak and Daxter). Walking around the house, seeing all the treasure makes me think of the good times I've had playing the games (especially when music from earlier games plays when grabbing certain treasures). I also like the thing about Cassie and Sully and the backgammon thing, that was funny. This ending chapter tells so much, without any dialogue. It's perfect. Thanks Naughty Dog.
As a one of the Uncharted fans, i finally played the 4th game after all these years and it made me ironically sad and proudful. When we were playing the other 3 games, we were living what they lived; with firstly Nathan, and after all these years, seeing this game with so many references from other games made me diversify. I am very cheerful to Naughty Dog and all Uncharted franchise to made me regularly cheerful, adventurer and curious game to game, i wish one day we would see another and new beginning of the Uncharted franchise with Cassie Drake..
Uncharted is and always will be my favourite action, drama, comedy and heartfelt series. I can’t ever say a bad thing about these games or characters. I even have a tattoo cause how much it means to me and it brought a tear of joy seeing Nate get the best ending for him and having a family when he came from nothing. Truely greatness from small beginnings
Although I didn't play any of the uncharted games, because I never had a playstation console, I can feel how impactful the series were as a whole, as saying goodbye to these characters is not the easiest thing to do in the world. That's why I and a lot of people love Naughty Dog. They put a lot of love and care into their masterpieces, unlike many other game companies.
Best ending I've seen from absolutely the bunch of games I've played, including the rest of the franchise. And this is how the story ends, Nathan Drake's true treasure is his family, and all his adventures are now a memory and a story to tell. The best franchise I've ever played and finally... May Uncharted rest on its throne.
“Sic Parvas Magna. To most people these words have little meaning, but to world trotting adventurer Nathan Drake, these words were his life motto; greatness, from small beginnings” It may not be the exact quote from Death Battle, but they still did a good job describing Nate’s character there Nathan Drake is the ultimate explorer of the Uncharted, and I’m glad I got the first three games, I’m even tempted to get the fourth when I finish the three I have now
I remember the DREAD my brother and I felt when we were playing this epilogue. _We thought we were about to see Nathan and Elena’s kid get infected for like 5 minutes while exploring the house._
Definitely one of the best games of all time. A perfect blend of stunning visuals, great gameplay, tremendous story, A-level voice acting and insane attention to details. It's not a very challenging game in the sense that it's not hard to finish, but that's not the point. The point is it's so much fun, you care about the characters, the gameplay and story flows without a hiccup, several sequences and locations make your jaw drop - you just become wrapped up in the whole thing as if you were watching a great adventure movie, only here, you're part of the action, not just an observer. And the story is what really makes this a winner - you probably had to experience the first three games to fully appreciate it. Uncharted 4 is a video game equivalent of Return of the King, or Avengers: Engame in the sense it wraps up everything PERFECTLY, like it literally couldn't be better. I don't play games much anymore, I'm 35, but I finished this for the second time over the last week and I liked it so much, I really want to just start over and go through the adventure again right away. Can't think of any other game has this effect on me. This truly is where a video game becomes something more, it's art.
Nate got everything he ever wanted. A loving wife, a daughter, his brother alive and well, Victor Sullivan a man who basically raised Nate, Nate is still able to live his life of adventure without getting shot at and it looks like he and Elena made a fortunate off it. After years of searching for the big treasure, it turns out he already found it with his family. That's how you end a saga on a high note.
I’ve played this franchise so many times but it still makes me a little emotional when I reach this point (despite moving onto Lost Legacy immediately afterwards). All my favourite moments come flooding back; from “Well, well, well” to “what’re you five?” and “Elena Fisher, last years model” and all the amazing gameplay moments like running around Syria with Chloe and Cutter or the monastery with Elena not to mention every moment with Sully. I love these games, and I’d kill for another like it.
I finished this game like 3 days ago, I still feel sad and depressed that it is over. It's over. There's not going to be a drake, there not going to be that music, that emotion. I can't get rid of the music at the end. It's making me go crazy. Can't sleep. Can't forget.
In my experience about action games, uncharted was the best video game, especially this the 4, the story was greatly amazing, even though the second game had been too. I feel good for the ending, I hope uncharted's saga continue with drake's daughter, and perhaps another crossover with clohe or Sam, really I value work of naughty dog. Just soft in my memory this jewel.
I hope they make a spinoff on a somewjat 20-ish year old Cassie Drake. And by the end of the game Drakw shows up finally as backup and we get to play with him for 1 last mission.
Today I finished this last chapter, a true masterpiece and I am happy to have played the whole Nathan Drake saga, landscapes, music and characters, this saga will remain in the heart and in history, the ending is a masterpiece, thanks for all Naughty dog ♥️.
This seems like a legendary ending to this series. The thing is, I've never had a console in my entire life. I never played this game. But I play games enough to know that this is iconic.
I love how Nate is slightly flustered as he opens the closet and Elena is just slightly smilling in the background propably thinking “She’s a Drake alright”

Don't forget the prequel game and comic
Man, what I've give to replay this game again as if it were my first time. Hearing the music at the end almost brings me to tears, joyful tears that is, not depressing or anything like that. Just makes me remember what an amazing game this is and the time of my life playing it for the first time. The memories...
It'd be a great easter egg if this house is in The Last of Us....
Like Ellie enters a house to look for stuff and this is the house.
@Primordial Force Wow thats good to know
Dude she's getting ready for the ADVENTURE OF HER LIFETIME
Like father like daughter.
This masterpiece! When it ended I cried because I felt like I was waving goodbye to old friends.
He got the dog, it's a girl but it's name is Vicky, i think that's cool how Naughty Dog has attention to detail like that
This game is a masterpiece.
Forever😍🙏🏻
Loved this franchise but a spin off with Cassie would just ruin it the best thing to do is enjoy the amazing story
I agree, Lost Legacy was a nice treat but tbh we don't need another Uncharted game. It ran its course and we can move on.
roboguy75 ya
roboguy75 damn were they good though
I know it's true...but still...I would love like a previous sully and Nate adventure, like the prostitute in the church
There are at least a dozen more lost cities/treasures to make games about. A new Uncharted series would be awesome
They need to make a uncharted where sully and Sam try to escape Cuba
Playing this series over the course of the ten years it lasted, made me emotionally attached to these characters unlike any other game
Nice profile pic
As a one of the Uncharted fans, i finally played the 4th game after all these years and it made me ironically sad and proudful. When we were playing the other 3 games, we were living what they lived; with firstly Nathan, and after all these years, seeing this game with so many references from other games made me diversify. I am very cheerful to Naughty Dog and all Uncharted franchise to made me regularly cheerful, adventurer and curious game to game, i wish one day we would see another and new beginning of the Uncharted franchise with Cassie Drake..
(When your first uncharted game is also Nathan drakes last adventure):Goddammit
Me too 😂 this is the worse thing ever !!
Same I got it for Christmas and finished it with my aunt in 2017 then I read the box and it said a theifs end I was like godammit
Same tho..
Sebastian Maregatti
Same here. Just purchased this cd a couple of days ago. I am halfway through the story.
Same but I played the other parts after playing uncharted 4
Uncharted is and always will be my favourite action, drama, comedy and heartfelt series. I can’t ever say a bad thing about these games or characters. I even have a tattoo cause how much it means to me and it brought a tear of joy seeing Nate get the best ending for him and having a family when he came from nothing. Truely greatness from small beginnings
Uncharted left one great undeniable legacy on playstation. Thank you ND.
There has been many great games past present and will be in the future but uncharted is the series is the greatest of all time
I was crying the whole epilogue.
The music sooo sad emotionally deep
Wow what series, hands down best mystery action game I've played so breathtaking
Man, that final scene which Elena lays the photo on the book is so emotional, is like I had a flashback of all the other Nate previous adventures
I littery cried when I finished playing Uncharted
One of the best endings ever made.
Did anyone else notice that Cassie is wearing a shirt with the symbol of Shamballah on it
The moment at 10:48 is such a perfect way to end it. Sonically, aesthetically. Bravo Naughty Dog.
The very ending of this scene gives me goosebumps everytime the music starts playing at the end, I love it so much
One of the best series of all time. This ending is a masterpiece ❤️👑🙏
We love masterpiece games ♥️😍🙏🏻
“Sic Parvas Magna. To most people these words have little meaning, but to world trotting adventurer Nathan Drake, these words were his life motto; greatness, from small beginnings”
It may not be the exact quote from Death Battle, but they still did a good job describing Nate’s character there
Nathan Drake is the ultimate explorer of the Uncharted, and I’m glad I got the first three games, I’m even tempted to get the fourth when I finish the three I have now
What a hell of an end to a fantastic series!
That make me sad
this guy be a legend to be a thief
I remember the DREAD my brother and I felt when we were playing this epilogue. _We thought we were about to see Nathan and Elena’s kid get infected for like 5 minutes while exploring the house._
a detail i noticed is that in one mission, nate said "im sure getting a dog after this" or something like that, and he did!
What an ending it was beautiful ending
I can't forget this game I played it 12 times 😔
Jesus Christ man
Seeing the Trio.Nate,Elena,Sully in their UNCHARTED outfits just brings me nostalgia
The best possible ending..i need another uncharted game with different characters or a similar game by naughty dog
Lost legacy.... but... it doesn’t feel like uncharted without Nathan drake, I rather have it end here
Best way to end it...uncharted 4 was a masterpiece.
This ending gave me satisfaction of a good series. Can’t say the same for the last of us
11:18 thats the time to cry...
So many years after this game came out and it's still my favourite game of all time
I now why you're here, I feel you after completing TLoU2
The co writer should have never leave Neil DRUNKman to his own devices....
This was really emotional watching it all end
Perfectly circles back. Hearing Nate recount his first adventure right at the end makes you wanna go back and replay it.
One of the GREATEST endings in video games.
My favourite story ever loved it from start to finish cant be more grateful
I hope they make a spinoff on a somewjat 20-ish year old Cassie Drake. And by the end of the game Drakw shows up finally as backup and we get to play with him for 1 last mission.
With the whole gang for one more adventure. I do picture that. But This Franchise has a happy ending.
The older I get, the harder this makes me cry.
I got emotional and happy at the ending all the adventures in the Uncharted games what a journey
My favourite game series always holds a special place in my heart
