All time favorite video from you
Nice pacing of music with video. And a fun vibe!
Amazing stuff, sunrising Marcy in the winter is definitely a bucket list item of mine. I listened to James' podcast on the way home from the High Peaks last night and I learned you guys did this hike on the 29th. I was on Marcy the day after, in the middle of the day, taking pictures of a friendly Welsh Terrier who made the trek up. There was no wind and the Sun made it so warm that I had to remove my knit cap. A far cry from the drama of your experience the morning before. My camera would've been fixed to the west. Pinkish mountaintops peeking out above the cloud invesion. As Thomas Heaton would say: Absolutely Stunning! Nuts you did Colden Trap Dike the day after this.
Saturday the 15th my son and I did the lower great range traverse which includes LWJ, UWJ, Armstrong and Gothics. The trail wasn’t broken in at all and we had to go up the west side of Armstrong. 2 hours to go a mile.
I’m a 46er and my son has gotten up to 23 (1/2) high peaks. Beautiful views and outstanding job with the video man! Keep hiking!
Absolutely Awesome! When we did that we hiked in and stayed at Grace Camp. Got up did that same trek, over Marcy , Skylight, Gray and back. Had a nice meal at JBL that night. Great weekend. In June, just a tad warmer lol.. Another great video. Just plain Awesome..
Cinematography in your videos are insanely good! Your thumbnail skills are on point! Excellent video 👍
Humanity salutes our star at 2:58. Nice vid production. You know how to do a hike like this.
You're getting me very excited about the winter ahead. Sweet video! 👍🏼
I always enjoy when you and James team up so I get both an awesome video and awesome podcast paired together. Keep up the great work gentlemen!
Great sunrise! These mountains are no joke, yet you make them look so easy!
As always.... one of the awesome video! Thank you for sharing. The winter view is great.
I love everything about this video!
Did that exact hike in late November, just in reverse order! Amazing trio
That floating log section is so amazing in the summer!! Love your video's man. Keep hikin!
Awesome video! Great shots everywhere. Though I've only climbed a half dozen high peaks many years ago, I was especially looking forward to watching this episode since Skylight was my last and most favorite summit. I climbed it in September '95 on a perfect weather day (and Marcy eleven years earlier), so it was interesting to see both summits frozen and looking a bit foreign in appearance compared to the stunning views I remember. Great job filming your trek! Stay safe.
Beautiful!
Epic vid and very well made! I need to get on Marcy in winter!
FYI I did this hike in late August last summer dreading the floating logs after watching your videos. Met a guy at the top of Gray asking where the floating logs were. They had fixed them. No more floating logs
Going this week!
Amazing video, keep it up! this coming up summer you should consider doing some of the mountains around lake George.
Amazing views next to one of the best lakes in the US.
Awesome video. My friends and i want to do the same thing in a few weeks. What time did you start hiking in the AM?

@@JonathanZaharek I'm going to be driving up (almost 4 hours) on Friday night after work and, need to be back by Monday morning for work. Do you think it'll be possible to do couchsachraga, Santanoni, and, panther?
I’m heading up Gray this weekend. Is it feasible to do it without a mountaineering axe?
