You seem to diss Amtrak’s small windows, but you’re too young to know / remember that Amfleet rolling stock was purposely designed to have small windows because the Boston and NY/NJ areas were subject to horrendous amounts of trackside rock throwing by vandals back when they were built - to the point that Boston’s MBTA F40PH’s had riot grates welded to the windshields. The small windows cut down on shatterings and replacement costs. (Just soes yuh know … )
Thanks. I didn't know about this railroad at all. I do love to drive up to the Adirondacks when there's snow on the ground. I'll have to try this trip out.
Magnificent catches of the trains coming by and pass, i like it 5 stars, keep up the great work, my friend, liked and subscribed, Greetings from Portugal.
Fun video Harrison, and I just loved the views of that snow-covered countryside! It reminded me of a New Hope School impressionist painting. The music was great too, I loved those instrumentals! And I can attest to the riding abilities of those Norfolk & Western cars from personal experience. Can't beat 'em! Thanks for bringing us along!
Great video from Okeechobee Florida.
Nothing beats the ALCO sound.
ALCO= Always Leaking Carbon & Oil
Very nice. I will most certainly have to take a ride this summer
Later in the season (fall) we will have Utica-Tupper trips up the entire line!
I’d like to thank Erin, Al, and Karol for their patience with me and everyone who makes this fantastic operation possible. See you in Tupper Lake!
i’m glad we were able to have you on board with us

Far too cold for this Bear, and once again you apppeared to have far too much fun. Thanks for taking the time, Harrison.

Did it for 37 winters, after I retired I'd could never go back doing it, especially in the winter.
Great trip up to Remsen. Already subscribed, and maybe see you during at least one visit this summer (now that I can once again cross the border).
Montreal locomotive works is an ALCO.
If you ride/run this line, you need to find and read "The Fairy Tail Rail Road" the history of building this line.
Great video! What happened to the 2400?
Fuel or oil (I forget which) line ruptured, it’s back in service mow
Great job! See you around
Watch for fallen trees...
😱
How does the train get HEP?
A generator provides power to the train.
