What does a QA Engineer actually do?
QA Engineers are responsible for ensuring that the software and web applications we use every day work flawlessly. They test and automate tests to make sure everything works as it should- from the buttons on a website to the code that makes it all run.
But what does that mean for you, the average person? In this video, we take a look at what a QA Engineer's job looks like day-to-day, and how you can become one too!

Wow great video I’m an old dude and my daughter told me that she wanted to become a “QA Engineer” I obviously had no idea what this was and your video was beautifully done and even I could understand!!!! Thank you again for the eloquent explanation!!!
What a great video! Simple, straightforward, dummy-friendly information. The animation was a plus!
Great video!! One of the best I’ve seen. Straight to the point. You made it very easy to understand the role for someone who has no idea what it is or what to expect.
Stay tune!! More coming 🎉🎉

this is the best straight answer i found... great video...
Love the video!
Thank you so much for the information!!!
this is a new branch in the IT world for me, I'm glad that this is a thing in the engineering field, I've always tend to know how to break things and fix them back better than before. To know
that QA Engineer is what I've done with computers and anything i tampered, is good to know that there a job like that.
thanks for the support. let us know what you wanna see next!
Great video! The explanation runs smoothly and very easy to understand, plus the animations give a funny and direct approach. A proper thumbs up!
Glad you enjoyed it! More content coming soon!!
Great video! Thank you very much!
Sounds like a good career!! Great video btw!
Thanks for checking it out!
2024 update please.
Got you!
@@PeopleInTech_yes please
Thank you for great explanation!
You bet!
2:18 i think is the reason i will go into this job. I'm literally all of that, I get hyperfocused on trying to break things and when websites don't work it's like the most aggrevating thing ever; even if it doesn't "really" affect me 😆 thank you for this video, you've definitely secured my mind into realising this is finally the job for me
Haha same here. I just got a QA offer from a big company starting next week that's why I am here watching this video. I remember when I was younger I always like to find bugs when online games release updates and report to the CS. One time there was a bug for event gift pack of 10x value which was supposed to be able to purchase once only. I bought 20+ of them and they patched it within a few hours, it was really fun.
This is really good. Thank you!
Our pleasure!
Excellent video - very well explained! Tysm!
Glad it was helpful!
This was so we'll put together- thanks! I am considering either software development or quality assurance...
Okay...Tech out...🤭
Glad it was helpful!
This is such a great explanation! This should be much higher on the search @RUclips!
Baby steps!! We’ll get there💯
The moment i saw the animation, i liked and subscribed! I love this! 🎉
More coming soon!

a /qa/ engineer engineers gems and reengineers coals into gems
Nice method of presentation.
Hey Caleb, I loved your animated video approach to teaching here!
May I ask what software/program did you use to make it with?
It's a mix of a few pieces of software. I use procreate and Adobe illustrator on ipad to draw my character. Then use Adobe Character Animator for the animation. Then depending on the video after effects and premier for editing. Hope this helps!!
Great video!!
Thank you!!! Stay tune for more😎
Extremely helpful, thank you so much!
Do you have anymore information on Freelance QA?
Not yet! But I’ll make a video shortly about it👍🏾
Great video!!! Thank you so much. It was very informative and strictly to the point with no bullshit.😂😂❤❤❤

Good content , thank you. You will need to work on the audio, it is kind a low.
Which is the best place/platform to do a QA course from? and how much time does it generally take to become a QA engineer?
Hmmm good question. I would start looking at www.selenium.dev/documentation/webdriver/ or www.cypress.io/ and start diving into their docs
i love this breakdown with fun animation. lets talk about creativity!!!
Appreciate ya!
Great video bro
Appreciate it! 🙏🏾💯

Hi,
What is the difference between QA TESTER and QA ENGINEER?
I don't think there's any difference actually between the two
How do I get the book
Stay tune! Working on some products rn☺️
HI can you talk about the difference between a UXR vs QA I'm trying to decide how to pivot with a MSW. So I"m not a math person
Nice vid
Appreciate it💯💯
What about devops guys do
So simple to grab 😊
Yes 😊
i heard of some qa engineers making crazy money...100s of thousands of dollars...
