- In this video I share our morning basket in our Montessori home. This was from just after my son turned 3 and my daughter was 15 months old. Morning basket is how we start our homeschool day and have since my son was a baby. This is a great way to connect and learn together in the morning. It is similar to a sort of circle time in a classroom and is popular in the homeschool world.
Our morning basket consists of reading, prayers, songs, and phonics. It is done in a way that includes both of my children: my 3-year-old and my 1-year-old. This video shares all the details and ideas to incorporate into your own morning basket. I share the days of the week song we sing. I discuss changes we have made over time to best serve my children during this time.

The brand is called Sable Flow! You can put any picture on the front. It was a pain to put in the poster but once in worked well!

It depends a bit! I’d say 20 ish minutes but I never time it

How did you teach your son the alphabet?
It was mostly just him picking up on things! I started a letter of the week but within 2 weeks he was wanting all the letters😅 we used the phonics book here though and he loved that!!
