I got selected by my previous professor to be a undergraduate TA for the next Bio class bc of my dedication, always asking questions and volunteered to help her with analogies/diagrams to help explain things the other students weren't getting. Im very honored and want to do a good job
@@riteshkhaire5964 generally they assist the instructor with the course. Most of the time the the work includes grading of assignments helping students if they have any issues understanding the problems. In my case I was assigned a lab class in which I am teaching about the experiments specific to that course and how to conduct them the basic theory and and the procedure toward the experiment how to analyze the data and finally grading of the lab reports.
Question for you honestly. I have been a Teaching Assistant for 3 years and was very disheartened about how lazy the actual professors at colleges. It felt like the TA did it all and literally the entire job was pawned off by the professor/teacher.
I work at an elementary school I am a custodian I’ve talked to my boss about moving up she said I can be an teacher assistant I agreed 🥰 I just want to know what to do as an assistant teacher is it stressful. What do I do
I see no-one answered you and its been 8 mths. Don't know if you are still interested but I, off and on for 7 years was a Instructional assistant . Usually you have to be a sub for a few years and then pass a paraeducator exam. Then you apply online at your board of education. then submit apps to schools. It can be stressful as kids can test your patience. I love kids and know how they think pretty much so I do well figuring them out, Can be very rewarding when your kids catch on to what you are teaching them.
I guess it's like a manager and new employee stance The manager has experienced being the new employee doing all the work while under supervision of their superior .. All to just be able to teach someone else the same thing they went through . . . I know that teachers have like 3 different teaching modes -talking to the students to teach -making the objective plans to completely make a lesson plan -and from what I heard.. talking to the parents I hope this helped 😊
playing school all those years came in handy lol
lmao exactly! All them years of teaching my barbie dolls paid off

May I ask which fields can a teaching assistant change after unemployment please?
resourceful
And then it ends up that the assistant yells at me when something goes wrong and doesn't care until I tell her I need something.
