Elon has a tendency to see the future. Even if these other companies surpass Tesla Bot it won't be for long. Elon will copy and then one-up their work plus he has the infrastructure and manufacturing experience to make it a reality over night. Til now these competitors are using machined parts. Musk is already using cast parts which is what you need for large scale production. If you just look at the robots they seem neck and neck but behind the scenes Musk is miles ahead of the competition.

Definitely, in fact, all of Apollo's footage looked like CGI. Based on this fake footage, I wouldn't trust anything by Apollo just yet.
You might consider creating a video about the new Hume AI, which is remarkably fluid and natural in its responses. This is yet another instance of AI development that could potentially be integrated into robotics.
Why does Herbert feature so many Robot competitors, but never explores any competitors in autonomous driving?

The silence of Tesla not responding to the impressive Figure demo has been deafening. I think they can't match it at this point and are scrambling to try to catch up. People are no longer fooled by tele-operated demos so companies have to get their end to end AI working for a demo to be impressive.
Elon Musk commented about this months ago. They will no longer be putting out updates on Optimus. Due to the fact that competitors would immediately put out videos emulating everything Tesla is doing.
The Figure Demo is impressive. But I don't see what Figure has that Tesla doesn't apart from a LMM which Figure licensed from Open AI.
They don't need to. Why? For people like you?
I find FSD very impressive. As Elon said baby AGI, I find it more than likely they are transferring their learnings to Optimus. Lack of demo videos doesn't prove lack of progress/falling behind.
I think U.S should be proud of Tesla being at the forefront of innovation including AI. It is impressive that U.S has a culture of innovation.
