- At annual Tesla AI Day event , Tesla CEO Elon Musk revealed the company's prototype robot meant to revolutionize their assembly line. The robot was only able to walk on stage and wave to the crowd. Then Elon and his team showed what they hoped for the production unit to look like once it’s ready.

Crazy, we're talking about robots, and Elon still doesnt have a final version of the cybertruck.
Because it's depended upon the new 4680 cells witch wont get into mass production until next year.
His intent is to grift the people not deliver a product. If the product happens then that’s just a plus. He has delivered nothing above and beyond anything we had prior to Elon.

Seems like they're struggling to make it walk without falling, while Boston Dynamics have robots running around and doing parkour. It seems less like a new push for revolutionary AI and more like Tesla wanted to see if they could make their Tesla AI computers into full robots instead of cars. This seems like a prototype, not something you show off at a convention.
It is a prototype...
It's just another stunt to pump the stock. Elon Musk is a con man.
It’s literally a prototype. Your input is useless and everyone has already said what you just said. We get it, Boston dynamics this Boston dynamics that…
BD robots fall all the time, the footage we always see is of those moments everything comes together. Additionally, BD has been at it for a very long time compared to the Tesla team who has only been at it for a mere fraction of the time. At the speed they're going, I anticipate crazy things in the near future. Plus they have their factories as actual test grounds for when they get there. This will only increase the development of the machine as it will see real world challenges and they are overcome.
Boston dynamics doesn't use deep learning as far as I know. Just classic robotics algorithms for the motion. This robot does, which potentially makes it more flexible but also very complicated to put together. Honestly, just like for self-driving car, I'm not sure current AI tech can achieve this reliably. We're just not there yet.

bro ! 😂
@@gusfring96 how does him doing all this crazy stuff lower his credibility? If anything it increases his credibility, plus he’s not the one building or doing them, the dude lives in a Tiny house in a tiny chica near the Starship Factory, Starship is literally getting ready to Fly to orbit, what else do you want?
Bit off topic
@@Singleraxis I'm just saying, Elon isn't successful at everything he attempts. I'm hoping he spends more time attempting to get Starship into orbit than attempting to create our robotic overlords.
@@kentslocum He got a whole team of skilled engineers doing that, he just steers directions. I'm sure he knows what he's doing. Put your faith in those who actually work there.
Is it right or left handed... I'm only asking because I noticed it picked up the watering can with the Left hand... Seeing his right side was closer to the can...
Seems early to unveil, but I suppose they want to make their splash asap.
