I do not think it is racist to say that. Many black people, who run up and down the scale, sing in soulful genres like Gospel, Blues, Jazz, and R&B where it is expected. These singers are masters of improvisation and sing from the heart with great confidence and technique, having the ability to go wherever their imagination takes them, like a jazz pianist or guitarist. The beauty is there are many great singers, in every race and genre, that we can listen to depending on our taste.
