This song is different than the "usual" QR sound from those days. As you can hear about in R. Rhoads' docu, it had been written to fit the record companies expectations... They wanted the band to move to the genre that was selling the most at that time. I imagine that it must have been pretty hard for somebody like Kevin DuBrow but in the end this song is quite good (should I say quiet "right" 🙂 )
I used to have a tape that recordings found their way around (amongst guitar players) with 5 studio cuts from Quiet riot recording in Japan. So while it was never on a an album lots of people still heard it one in a million baby you're my lucky star Shredding solo
A band called August Redmoon later covered this, but claimed they wrote it themselves and were made to take it off their album. (Interview with Kevin DuBrow in Metal Forces issue 3)
Rudy Sarzo stated in a interview with Rick Beato that the band was asked if they could make a song that sounded like Rod Stewart's Do You Think I'm Sexy. Now I'm wondering why Rudy's name isn't in the description for playing bass on this track.
Nice man! Oh Taken i wanna see that one! Yeah I got GOW2....but this week end my Xbox gave me the damned E74 error....so lol...who knows when Ill be able to play it again lolz
Wanted to thank you so much for uploading this, I've been looking for a good copy of this studio track for years. Where did you find it? If you have the other ones, could you post Quinn the Eskimo from the same place/LP/CD?
Rhoads’ guitar work here is impeccable.😊
I just watched the new Randy Documentary and learned of this song. Amazing!
me too!

I noticed RR had a lot of cheesy licks in his QR days. I couldn't tell he would be Ozzy's guitarist.

Dope song boys
This is actually not terrible. They just over did it with the phaser. The chorus is kinda nice! It reminds me of Video Killed the Radio Star.
QR goes Abba, love it

I never knew Quiet Riot was a disco band!
A DISCO BAND

If Black Sabbath and the Beegees had a baby together it would be this song.
Flying high again
Quiet Riot early years do not get enough credit. They were great
in the last picture, kevin looks like daniel larooso from karate kid
Why did they never redo this song?
