Clearly they did. I mean this trailer came out at like 1PM on the day it went into the public domain. Clearly they didn't film enough of the movie to make the trailer, make and drop a trailer, and get reported by some news sites all in 13 hours. This had to have been filmed and in production a while ago (although from the looks of the movie... that that long ago. I mean based on appearances it is a movie set entirely in a dave and busters knock off that someone involved in the film probably works at and filmed it after they closed each night.). Honestly this might be fun who knows, could be better written than Blood and Honey, but if the trailer is anything to go by this was likely made with even less effort than blood and honey and an even smaller budget. Not propping up Blood and Honey but as low budget and low effort as that was, this one looks worse. Although if the acting and writing is even a little better, that might make a difference. This one at least looks to not be taking itself as seriously.
It's literally not in the film. Idk why, maybe it was removed, or maybe it was only added to the trailer to make the film sell more to the audience. But there is no explanation of that one clip and that clip is not in the film at all!!

Disney doesn’t own Mickey Mouse, in fact it’s public domain. They can name the character anytime they want but if the original director sees a Mickey Mouse without their permission, they can’t do anything about it. How is it Disney is not suing these people of turning a beloved kids cartoon character that brought so much love and joy in our hearts into a twisted nightmare? I would even think Walt Disney himself would be insulted what they are doing to his own creation! 😰 Edit: Also to those who think otherwise, I’m aware of the copyright thing of Mickey being free to use now but I just find it strange this is allowed. Also about me saying I don’t know how Walt Disney thinks, you’re right, I don’t. But I done enough research about him to know enough that what he wanted was to bring fun, love and joy into people’s hearts through his creations and to build a park to make people smile. Maybe he would be amused by this, maybe not… I mean there are some dark aspects in some of his old cartoons as I know and in a way I would understand why people would see it as another version that could be more scary like. But I stand by my opinion as someone who loves the characters how they are since growing up with them. I’m not saying I’m an expert cuz I’m not, I’m just saying from my perspective he created Mickey for kids to love him as the friendly big hearted loving character as he is and not as a killer mouse, even if it’s just a guy dressing up in his mask. I just really don’t like how some people are ruining the characters image by making them into something they were never meant to be since the beginning of their creations, but if some older Disney fans get a kick out of this then it’s not my business to criticize how they feel as I’m just expressing my own opinion like everyone else.

Unlikely. Winnie the Pooh director didnt like the idea of using Mickey in a horror film. He's afraid Disney will find a way to sue...which to be honest they may😂😂😂
It's just been released in the UK. But why did the director make a big thing about using Mickey Mouse's image now that the early (Steamboat Willie) version of him is in the public domain? Because there have been several thriller, heist, and horror movies where characters wore recognisably Mickey Mouse masks as disguises.
Should’ve gone with a realistic rat with boxers that’s 10 times bigger out for blood but not with a knife no no no he’s gonna kill people by putting them into a mouse trap a big mouse trap that’s right he’ll kidnap them then take them into his basement and then we can learn idk Minnie Mouse got killed in a mousetrap and Mickey found some radiation so now he’s out for revenge and blood.
Why not have the movie take place on a boat instead of an arcade and have Pete the cat there too it be a lot more creative and probably entertaining if they actually make creative instead of a location that is in pretty much every horror movie
I love how this is like a running gag where anything becomes public domain, it turns into a horror movie.

1:35 cg steamboat Mickey really???
Looks like it’s from Treasure Island.
This made me laugh uncontrollably, I think we have a new horror classic on our hands!
Yeah just like Blood and Honey!
Steamboat Willie and its Mickey Mouse: enter in public domain.
People without creativity and talent which decide to use that character for bad movies and games: enter in public awfulness.
Please Disney!
Try to cease and desist this awfulness.
Maybe Mickey Mouse should be protected by copyright of Disney forever. Possibly.
Because some weirdos shouldn't ruin legendary characters just because they can.

Finally a FIVE NIGHT AT TRESAURE ISLAND MOVIE let’s go
There better be a scene in this movie where the guy with the Mickey mask uses his victims as instruments.
So you interested in the film like me?
Nya, next year the first Silly simphonies enter the public domain too. I wonder if someone will make an horror movie too. I mean, "The skelleton dance" and "Hell bells" are basically begging for it.
Could you imagine if they already made the trailer months ago and we’re waiting for January 1st to pass so they can release the trailer?
No, I'm pretty sure they filmed and edited this in less than 24 hours
I think they just whipped it up in a few hours, just like the horror game. Like it’s impossible for people to know when something goes into the public domain
It was made public knowledge a year or two ago that the , " Steamboat Willie " version of Mickey was gonna go into public domain at the start of 2024. There was a little heads up, js. @@quisshy
@@brettbutcher5339 bro i was joking how dense are you 💀💀💀 r/woosh
1:33 can someone explain to me what the context is behind the little Mickey Mouse on the screen I’m too lazy to watch the movie and find out
It's literally not in the film. Idk why, maybe it was removed, or maybe it was only added to the trailer to make the film sell more to the audience. But there is no explanation of that one clip and that clip is not in the film at all!!
1:06 line stolen from Scream
And delivered much more poorly lol! Dude’s probably going to die real quick in this movie. XD

First the Winnie the Poo horror movie, then the Infestation 88 Mickey Mouse Horror game and now this. And not one of them seem to be executed well in any way. So far, Disney can rest easily.

They better be REAL careful about specifically making steamboat willie mickey and not accidentally have hints of modern mickey in the film otherwise Disney will be on their asses in an instant. I don't fully remember steamboat willie but does he take his hat off?
Starts off without the hat In the short
Just has a longer nose and is black and white
Mickey actually spends most of the short not wearing a hat, he doesn't wear gloves though
Disney doesn’t own Mickey Mouse, in fact it’s public domain. They can name the character anytime they want but if the original director sees a Mickey Mouse without their permission, they can’t do anything about it. Cause he’s really well-known as the director of Mickey Mouse property and the REAL Mickey Mouse don’t belong to him. In fact the killer doesn’t look like him except the black pants and the jersey

Blood And Honey Was Amazing So I’m Ready For This One
When I saw Infestation 88 and NOW MICKEY'S MOUSE TRAP, I just die from laughter. I mean like the year JUST BEGAN! This is just so funny to the point I wonder what they'll do if sonic entered the public domain or crash or mario or literally any character who hasn't entered the public domain yet! Imagine this, CRASH STRIKES BACK! THE HORROR FILM! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
that will be madness 🤪
Ikr HOW COULD THEY MAKE IT SO QUICKLY ITS ONLY BEEN A FEW HOURS 😱😱🤯🤯🤯
I assume the Squeakwel's going to be: Mickey's Slaughterhouse of Mouse. "Ol' Walt once said it all started with a Mouse, but tonight it ends with one too."
How is it Disney is not suing these people of turning a beloved kids cartoon character that brought so much love and joy in our hearts into a twisted nightmare? I would even think Walt Disney himself would be insulted what they are doing to his own creation! 😰
Edit: Also to those who think otherwise, I’m aware of the copyright thing of Mickey being free to use now but I just find it strange this is allowed.
Still better than the remakes and current movies disneys been releasing

They need to make Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh fight now like Freddy VS Jason.
Now that would be funny
Unlikely. Winnie the Pooh director didnt like the idea of using Mickey in a horror film. He's afraid Disney will find a way to sue...which to be honest they may😂😂😂
The sound quality, the acting, the could be any movie just insert character here, this had to be made by the blood and honey people.
It's just been released in the UK. But why did the director make a big thing about using Mickey Mouse's image now that the early (Steamboat Willie) version of him is in the public domain? Because there have been several thriller, heist, and horror movies where characters wore recognisably Mickey Mouse masks as disguises.
Girl very clearly covered in blood: there's blood in the ball pit
Girl: blood?
Girl very clearly covered in blood:
Should’ve gone with a realistic rat with boxers that’s 10 times bigger out for blood but not with a knife no no no he’s gonna kill people by putting them into a mouse trap a big mouse trap that’s right he’ll kidnap them then take them into his basement and then we can learn idk Minnie Mouse got killed in a mousetrap and Mickey found some radiation so now he’s out for revenge and blood.
No, that will be somewhat scary and funny. Better just make a generic slasher in a mouse masked, it's far cheaper that way!

Why not have the movie take place on a boat instead of an arcade and have Pete the cat there too it be a lot more creative and probably entertaining if they actually make creative instead of a location that is in pretty much every horror movie
