Thanks for thjis great tip! I have searched for a leak without success, but this pressurised tip is a great idea. Thank you will be trying it on my Peugeot 3008.
Thanks. A little tip, please don't use excessive pressure something might burst/break, a light air pressure is enough to find a leak . Here are links to couple of decent coolant leak detection kits amzn.to/3VFUpAM amzn.to/3VFUzbm All the best 👍
Thank you, you helped Denka a lot, the hoses for the heater core were reversed and thanks to this video we saved and fixed it. Thanks a lot from Macedonia ❤
Thanks, great vid really helpful🙂 I'll try using a bike pump with pressure gauge after I modify the cap (use a bike valve cut from inner tube). I found this similar brake bleed kit on ebay, its the first one that comes up if you put this in (youtube wont let me post the link!) 'Car Brake Bleeding & Clutch Fluid Bleeder Kit Vacuum Tool Pump 500ml Air Powered'. Do you know if one of those caps will fit ok on my 207 (2009) expansion tank ? Thanks
Hey mate, appreciate your work on youtube- been helpful to me. I have a leak right under the coolant tank (from the connector where the expansion tank water hose connects to bottom of tank) -on my 207 1.4 VTi sport - I suspect its from a leaky O ring seal? Do you know if it uses an O ring to connect to bottom of tank? I read online someone cut the connector and added a jubilee clip.. What would you do yourself? replace oring?

Hi, I used to have a similar kit. I've checked one on eBay and can see it has few caps 24, 27, 44, 45 and 46 mm. Will it fit? I can't guarantee
@@mrfxr1695 ok cheers for looking, ill give it a go.

O rings and push connectors are great for assembly lines, but loose flexibility when old. Jubilee(hose clip) is a great alternative
could you post a link where you got the kit to do this
I bought it about 20 years ago in Halfords, it is called brake bleed kit made by Laser
Nice.
Thanks
